A Key Democrat Turned On Joe Biden Over A Cover Up About The Chinese Spy Balloon

Not even Joe Biden’s fellow party members want to carry water on this scandal.

Democrats are looking for the off ramp.

And this key Democrat turned on Joe Biden over a cover up about the Chinese spy balloon.

As Conservative Revival reports:

Democrats keep making it clear in the most public ways possible that they are not happy with Joe Biden stealing classified documents.

The latest top Democrat to speak out against Biden was Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Virginia Senator Mark Warner.

In an interview on CBS’ “Face the Nation” Warner expressed his displeasure at a briefing delivered by Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines on the classified documents recovered from Biden and Donald Trump.

“I know the two of you were briefed by the Director of National Intelligence, Avril Haines. Do you have any timeline in terms of when you will get visibility into the documents of classified material that both President Biden and President Trump had in their residences?” host Margaret Brennan asked.

Warner accused the administration of a cover-up about the fact that the administration will not deliver a damage assessment about what was contained in the recovered classified documents.

“Margaret, unfortunately, no. And this committee has had a long, bipartisan history of doing its job, and our job here is intelligence oversight. The Justice Department has had the Trump documents about six months, the Biden documents about three months. Our job’s not to figure if somebody mishandled those, our job is to make sure there’s not an intelligence compromise. And while the Director of National Intelligence had been willing to brief us earlier, now that you’ve got the special counsel, the notion that we’re going to be left in limbo and we can’t do our job, that just cannot stand,” Warner stated.

Arkansas Republican Senator Tom Cotton echoed those concerns.

Cotton announced he would slow-walk all administration nominations until the Senate received a damage assessment briefing.

“I’m prepared to refuse consent or to fast-track any nominee for any department or agency. And take every step I can on every committee on which I serve to impose consequences on the administration until they provide these documents for the Congress to make our own informed judgment about the risk to national security,” Cotton added.

Given the fact that the FBI recovered documents from both Trump and Biden – and the Department of Justice has known what was recovered for months  – the administration refusing to deliver a briefing can only be for one reason.

There is nothing in the Trump documents and Joe Biden stole classified materials containing explosive secrets that would damage American national security if they leaked.

The FBI posted a photo of Trump’s documents laid out on the carpet to give the impression Trump just left them strewn about the floor for anyone to see.

There was no picture of any of the six batches of stolen classified documents recovered from Joe Biden’s properties.

And if there was anything damaging in the documents the FBI seized from Mar-a-Lago or if Joe Biden stole completely benign and overclassified documents the FBI or the Department of Justice would have leaked it to the press.
