Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Looked Like A Fool When She Said This Out Loud

Democrats don’t want Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as the face of their party.

But it’s too late.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez looked like a fool when she said this out loud.

As Black Eye Politics reports:

The internet brutally mocked Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) for a gas stove that looked to be in her residence after claiming that gas stoves cause cognitive issues.

The leftist fight against gas stoves started when Consumer Product Safety Commission Commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. said in a Monday interview with Bloomberg that gas stoves present a “hidden hazard” and said “any option is on the table” including banning them.

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), a former White House physician, responded on Tuesday: “I’ll NEVER give up my gas stove.”

“If the maniacs in the White House come for my stove, they can pry it from my cold dead hands,” he said. “COME AND TAKE IT!!”

AOC responded, “Did you know that ongoing exposure to NO2 from gas stoves is linked to reduced cognitive performance[?]”

Jackson responded with a video that Ocasio-Cortez posted on Instagram of her using a gas stove in what appears to be her own kitchen.

“@aoc says gas stoves cause ‘reduced cognitive performance’ – yet she uses a gas stove?” Jackson wrote. “Is this a self diagnosis? AOC, as a medical doctor, I can tell you this: what’s wrong with your head IS NOT caused by stoves. Something WAY BIGGER is causing your decreased cognitive function!”

Rep. Bill Huizenga (R-MI) proposed legislation on Wednesday barring the federal government from banning stoves powered by natural gas.

“The last thing Americans need or want is another big government bureaucratic decision telling us which appliance we can have in our home,” Huizenga said in a press release. “The STOVE Act is a common-sense measure that will stop bureaucrats from banning gas stoves or ranges. Americans should have the ability to choose the most affordable and most available way to cook food in their own home. It is absolutely ridiculous how out of control and out of touch the nanny state in Washington has become.”

Democrats are considering banning stoves because of a recent study that found that children who live in a home with a gas stove are 12% more likely to have childhood asthma, according to a report published last month by the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.

Brady Seals, co-author of the study, just happens to be a manager at the think tank RMI’s Carbon-Free Buildings program.

“This adage of, ‘If it’s bad for the climate, it’s probably bad for your health,’ led us to start researching this topic about three years ago,” Seals said.

All the data that stoves are bad have been produced by climate activists and even then, not a single study has shown cognitive decline from gas stoves.
