Trey Gowdy Warns Democrats Are Hugging Anti-Semitic Protests Too Closely

It was time for a reality check.

Joe Biden didn’t want to hear the bad news.

And Trey Gowdy hit Joe Biden with the brutal truth about his chances in November.

As Swamp Digest reports:

Joe Biden continues stooping to new lows in trying to appease the anti-Semitic, anti-American protestors gone wild on college campuses.

These pro-Hamas mobs aren’t anti-war.

They are anti-Jew.

Biden is worried these packs of terrorist sympathizers won’t turn out to vote on November 5 unless he cracks down on Israel and the war in Gaza.

That’s why Biden is now threatening to withhold arms shipments – which have already been approved by Congress – unless Israel agrees to surrender to Hamas.

In an appearance on Special Report with Brett Baier, former South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy broke down the insanity of Joe Biden’s current political posture towards Israel and Hamas.

Responding to a question from Baier about the predicament Biden now finds himself in, Gowdy sarcastically remarked that he wishes Biden luck with trying to explain to voters why he cracked down on Israel and came down on the side of Hamas and Iran.

“Yeah, good luck if your general election message is we were tougher on Israel than we were on either Iran or Hamas,” Gowdy began.

Gowdy then spoke political reality of the nature of the hoards of anti-Semites seizing control of college campuses versus the concerns of swing voters.

Gowdy explained the campus mobs were never going to vote for Trump, but older Americans – who only show up to vote every four years – were repulsed by images of Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and The Squad cheering on pro-Hamas militias who attack police and threaten Jewish students with rhetoric straight out of 1930s Germany.

“I think, if he were smart about it, he would realize these young progressives, or anarchists, that are on college campuses aren’t going to vote for Donald Trump,” Gowdy added.

“But people my age – who don’t like lawlessness, who are watching these images, who are watching, or listening, to the squad beat up on the police and side with criminality – he’s going to lose their vote,” Gowdy continued.

Gowdy finished by saying Biden faced his own political calculation, but that he couldn’t believe Democrats are letting their base drag them around into a no-win situation.

“He’s got a political calculus. I just delight in the fact it’s not Republicans getting drugs by their base. It’s the Democrats,” Gowdy concluded.

Polling data shows Gowdy is onto something.

A majority of Americans oppose the protests.

The Hill reported that a You/Guv poll “found that 50 percent of respondents said they oppose the recent protests. Twenty-six percent say they support the demonstrations, while 25 percent said they weren’t sure how they felt about them.”

Another survey found 67 percent of Americans – with their views informed by the insurrection Democrats staged in the summer of 2020 following the death of George Floyd – worry the protests will spiral into the same widespread violence.

“The survey, released Wednesday by USA Today and Suffolk University, found that nearly 32 percent of Americans said they are “very concerned” the protests will end up in violence, while just more than 35 percent said they are “somewhat concerned,” The Hill also reported.

Joe Biden is holding a losing hand.

Biden can either alienate his base by rejecting calls to support Hamas or he can send swing voters into Donald Trump’s camp by siding up with the Jew-hating, anti-American hooligans on college campuses.
