Alvin Bragg inserted himself into the middle of the 2024 election.
Now Bragg is facing the heat.
And Alvin Bragg is worried this key ally is about to go rogue.

All of the criminal trials against Donald Trump were the result of Joe Biden’s wishes.
Biden even played a role in orchestrating these show trials.
Former top Department of Justice official Matthew Colangelo left the DOJ to join Alvin Bragg’s office in December 2022.
And in what was surely no coincidence, Bragg indicted Trump shortly after Colangelo came on board.
To make matters even worse, Colangelo received thousands of dollars in payments from the Democratic National Committee for “political consulting” work in 2018.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan is investigating the weaponization of the U.S. justice system against Donald Trump.
Jordan’s target is the coordination in the cases against Trump.
And Jordan knows Colangelo sits at the heart of this conspiracy.
That’s why Jordan is now demanding New York Attorney General Letitia James turn over documents relating to Colangelo’s work in her office.
In his letter to James, Jordan wrote that Colangelo “held the title of Chief Counsel for Federal Initiatives—ran investigations into President Trump, leading ‘a wave of state litigation against Trump administration policies.”
Colangelo consistently jumping to whichever prosecutor’s office afforded him the chance to launch witch hunt after witch hunt against Trump stood out.
And Jordan noted that once Colangelo showed up on Bragg’s team, Bragg indicted Trump for trying to cover up a fake campaign finance crime which federal prosecutors previously concluded didn’t exist.
“District Attorney Bragg’s prosecution concerns a federal subject matter that is identical to a matter that the Justice Department closed in 2018, raising concerns that a state-level prosecutor is seeking to relitigate an issue on which the federal government previously declined prosecution,” Jordan added.
Jordan warned that Bragg using prosecutorial powers to interfere with an election was a Rubicon-crossing moment for the country.
And the fact that one of Joe Biden’s top Justice Department officials played an active role – Colangelo delivered opening statements in the Manhattan show trial – made matters even worse.
“District Attorney Bragg’s politicized prosecution of President Trump has serious consequences for federal interests. The fact that a former senior Biden Justice Department official—whose previous employment consisted of a leading a wave of state litigation against Trump administration policies’—is now leading the prosecution of President Biden’s chief political rival only adds to the perception that the Biden Justice Department is politicised and weaponized,” Jordan added.
Jordan believes James possesses key evidence that can shine a light on this conspiracy against democracy and the American people.
And Jordan told James it’s time to fork it over.
