The Democrat Party’s campaign strategy centers on sending Donald Trump to prison.
Trump knows this is the case.
And Donald Trump made a promise about going to jail that no one saw coming.
As Conservative Reboot reports:
Joe Biden Throws American Democracy Out the Window
One of the key principles of American democracy has always been that political leaders should not use the legal system as a means for obtaining power.
In third-world countries, or in dictatorships like Russia, politicians will imprison their opponents in order to prevent them from challenging their ability to stay in elected office.
America has never faced situations like that before. But now, Joe Biden and the Democrats have thrown those time-honored principles out the window.
Donald Trump has been convicted in a New York court on bogus charges that would not have been brought against anyone but him.
He was prosecuted by Democrats in the hopes that it would prevent him from campaigning against Joe Biden in the 2024 election.
But Trump is not giving up, and he vowed to keep fighting.
He released a threat about what will happen to America if this kind of activity becomes the norm.
Trump Fights Back After the Convictions in New York
According to Breitbart, “Former President Donald Trump described himself as being ‘the political prisoner of a failing nation,’ days after a Manhattan jury found him guilty in his business records trial.
“Trump posted a video on Truth Social on Tuesday, highlighting how November 5th was ‘the most important day in the history of our country.’
“The video from the former president comes almost a week after a jury found him guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree related to payments Michael Cohen, Trump’s former fixer and attorney, had made to adult actress Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election.”
Democrats may have expected Trump to simply stop running for president and focus on his legal defense, but that is not what he did.
Here is what Trump had to say after the convictions: “I am the political prisoner of a failing nation. But, I will soon be free, on November 5th, the most important day in the history of our country. And, we will together, make America great again. Thank you.”
The article continues, “Since the guilty verdict, the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC) have seen an influx of donations. The Trump campaign revealed that it had raised $141 million in donations during May, alongside the RNC.”
The fact that so many people are contributing to Trump and the RNC in the wake of this verdict shows that the public believes it was unfair.
The charges against Trump in New York were incredibly weak. In fact, even many liberals said the case against him in New York was the weakest one.
And yet the jury in liberal Manhattan still found a way to convict Trump on all of the charges, much to the delight of Joe Biden.
Donald Trump may have been convicted in court, but he is not giving up the fight to regain the White House.
