And one actor shocked everyone by endorsing Donald Trump.

British comedian Russell Brand always came off as a free-spirited leftist and the type of jokester who openly celebrated his recreational use of drugs.
Brand became a familiar name to American audiences by starring in films “Get Him to the Greek,” “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” and “Rock of Ages.”
The comedian and actor also married pop star Katy Perry in 2010.
But Brand has been sober for over 20 years.
And ever since the COVID pandemic he has become a popular podcaster on Rumble for his show’s questioning the lockdowns and mandates as well as the deep-state conspiracies against Donald Trump.
Brand won fans on the right and skeptical center by tirelessly advocating for free speech.
Now Brand told Republican National Committee (RNC) spokeswoman Elizabeth Pipko that anyone who actually cares about “freedom” and “democracy” should vote for Donald Trump.
Brand told Pipko he was tired of the disrespect establishment media showed Trump supporters – where they are routinely smeared as “sycophants” and “cultists.”
In addition, Brand also expressed concern about the Biden administration weaponizing the justice system to jail Trump since polls show Biden can’t defeat Trump at the ballot box on his own.
“For a long time Elizabeth, I’ve been concerned about the snobbery and contempt and condemnation in which people that support Donald Trump are plainly held by his detractors. And this is while you have an administration that’s emulating his policies plagiarizing from Donald Trump while simultaneously criminalizing him through the weaponization of the legal system,” Brand stated.
Biden – Brand explained – is the true threat to democracy.
“In a straight choice between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, if you care about democracy, if you care about freedom, I don’t know how you could do anything other than vote for Donald Trump for precisely the reasons that they claim that you can’t vote for Donald Trump,” Brand added.
Brand mocked the hysterical liberals who go on CNN and MSNBC who act like the republic will fall if Donald Trump wins when the reality of his four years in office shows otherwise.
“They act as if a vote for Donald Trump is almost like you’re directly voting for Armageddon, like you see hysterical performances outside of courtrooms, endless MSNBC bombast.”
Brand said it was Joe Biden who weaponized the machinery of government to censor opponents of his COVID mandates.
Biden is the one – Brand explained – who wants a blank check to fund an endless war in Ukraine.
And Brand noted it’s Biden who is dividing citizens by giving speeches where he all but declares Trump supporters as enemies of democracy.
“But I’m starting to think that no,” Brand concluded. “A greater threat to democracy is this kind of technological feudalism, that tells you that it cares about you and that it’s protecting vulnerable people, all the while increasing censorship, increasing the funding of wars, increasing the division between ordinary Americans.”
