Donald Trump once again took everyone by surprise.
What Trump had to say came out of left field.
And Donald Trump revealed this assassination smoking gun.
As Swamp Digest reports:
In the wake of Oliver Stone’s hit 1991 movie “JFK,”Congress passed the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992 which mandated that the National Archives collect all records relating to the assassination and that by 2017, they be made public.
Donald Trump released thousands of pages of documents relating to the Kennedy assassination.
But crucial records remained under lock and key.
In an appearance on the All-In podcast Trump revealed that officials at the CIA convinced him to keep some of the JFK files classified.
“I actually did do it. I released a lot, as you know, but when it came to the whole thing, I was hit by some people that work for me, who are great people that you would respect,” Trump said, likely referring to then-CIA Director Mike Pompeo.
Trump revealed CIA officials succeeded in dragging their feet on getting the JFK documents out to the public.
But Trump said there would be no repeat of these stalling tactics in his second term.
“They asked me not to do it, and I’m saying, ‘Why? Tell me why?’ And they said, ‘Sir, I think it needs a little more time.’ And I released a lot, but I said, if they feel so strongly, I respect the people, and would have done that again, but this time I’m just gonna do it,” Trump added.
Trump then casually remarked that he believed the CIA coverup stemmed from the agency being behind the Kennedy assassination.
“Well, this wasn’t CIA that asked me, but I think CIA was probably behind it. They would’ve preferred that I not release the rest of it,” Trump continued.
Trump said making the remaining JFK documents public would be a startling learning experience for the American people as they find out the truth about some of the deep state’s most closely guarded secrets.
“It’s gonna be done early on. A lot of people want to see that, and whatever it may say, I won’t say, I sort of have an idea, but whatever it is, it’ll be very interesting for people to see, and we’re gonna have to learn from it,” Trump concluded.
Polls show a clear majority of the American people don’t believe the Warren Commission’s official story that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in killing President Kennedy.
Details about Oswald’s life in the years prior to the assassination don’t add up such as his military service, his defection to Russia, his subsequent return to the United States and his travel to Mexico where he reportedly made contact at the Russian Embassy.
If Trump follows through on his promise and releases the remaining JFK assassination documents, the information they contain could shake the country to the core.
