There are less than five weeks to go before Election Day.
Donald Trump faced a major decision.
And Donald Trump gave Kamala Harris the answer she never expected to hear.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Kamala Harris’ handlers announced they accepted an invitation from CNN for a second debate on CNN scheduled for October 23.
“The American people deserve another opportunity to see Vice President Kamala Harris and Donald Trump debate before they cast their ballots. It would be unprecedented in modern history for there to just be one general election debate. Debates offer a unique chance for voters to see the candidates side by side and take stock of their competing visions for America,” Kamala Harris campaign chairwoman Jen O’Malley Dillon announced.
Democrats thought they could set up a situation to lay a trap for Trump to either take a debate late in the game and on an anti-Trump network or to let the media call him a coward if he backed out.
Trump responded at a rally in North Carolina.
The offer – Trump pointed out – was a sham.
“The problem with another debate is that it’s just too late voting has already started,” Trump stated.
By October 23, the Democrats would have locked in all their early voting.
A late debate could only hurt Trump if late-deciders watched the debate and for whatever reason decided to break for Kamala Harris.
Trump also pointed out that Kamala Harris already ducked a September 4 debate on Fox.
Now she wanted another debate on CNN so she could have the moderators rig the debate like David Muir and Linsey Davis did in the ABC encounter.
Allowing Kamala Harris to schedule all the debates as home games on pro-Democrat networks was out of the question.
“She’s had her chance to do it with Fox… but now she wants to do a debate right before the election because she’s losing badly,” Trump added.
Finally, Trump again compared Kamala Harris to a fighter who lost a title fight and promptly demanded a rematch.
“It’s like a fighter. She sees the pulse, she sees what’s happening. She’s losing badly, but it’s like a fighter who goes into the ring and gets knocked out. The first thing he says is, ‘I wanna rematch,’” Trump concluded.
