Donald Trump Wants Maine Governor on Defying Law Banning Men from Playing Women’s Sports

Democrats were looking for a fight with President Trump.

One finally arrived.

And you won’t believe what Trump said to this Democrat’s face.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

One of Donald Trump’s most popular campaign promises was banning biological males from playing in girls’ sports.

Trump boasted about keeping his word to the American people when he signed an executive order denying federal funding to states that threatened the safety of girls by allowing men onto their playing fields.

“I signed an executive order banning men from playing in women’s sports,” Trump began.

Trump then called out Maine Democrat Governor Janet Mills for defying the executive order and allowing a biological male to play high school girls’ basketball.

“Many Democrats are fighting me on that. I hope you continue because you’ll never win another race,” Trump declared.

Trump then asked if Mills was there and addressed her directly.

“Are you not going to comply with it?” Trump asked.

Mills falsely claimed she was following all applicable laws.

“I’m complying with state and federal laws,” Mills shot back.

Trump then lowered the boom on Mills, reminding her that the executive order she signed was federal law and that she risked losing all federal funding with her woke defiance.

“Well, we are the federal law,” Trump declared. “Well, you better do it. You better do it because you’re not going to get any federal funding at all if you don’t.”

Trump noted that men in women’s sports is radically unpopular even in blue states like Maine.

“And by the way, your population, even though it’s somewhat liberal — although I did very well there — your population doesn’t want men playing in women’s sports,” Trump continued.

A New York Times/Ipsos poll found 79 percent of Americans support banning biological males from playing girls’ sports.

Mills tried to act all tough telling Trump “I’ll see you in court.”

President Trump didn’t miss a beat and fired right back that not only would his administration easily win this case, but that Mills was making the mistake that would finish her career in politics.

“That should be a really easy one, and enjoy your life after governor because I don’t think you’ll be in elected politics,” Trump stated.
