JD Vance Ripped the Supreme Court to Shreds for This Awful Ruling

The Supreme Court just handed Trump a devastating loss.

JD Vance says the fight to reverse it isn’t over.

He revealed why one number gives conservatives hope.

As Great American Digest reports:

Amy Coney Barrett was President Trump’s third Supreme Court nominee.

It’s not clear, in light of Barrett’s multiple rulings blocking Trump’s agenda, that Trump was sold a bill of goods when she and her establishment Republican supporters presented her as a constitutional conservative in the mold of Antonin Scalia after Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away in September 2020.

Vice President Vance offered the first on-camera response to Barrett’s betrayal.

Reporters asked if he was “angry” with Barrett over the fact that she is now the latest stealth liberal to infiltrate the court after getting nominated by a Republican President.

Vance didn’t go that far and simply said Barrett was wrong to dilute American citizenship and sovereignty with her outrageous and unhinged ruling.

But Vance noted that on the actual question of the 14th Amendment conferring birthright citizenship to the babies of illegal aliens, the Supreme Court handed down a narrow 5-4 ruling.

“Well, look, do I think she made a mistake in the ruling? I do. I don’t know how anybody can say that if a person who is an illegal alien or, for example, a person who’s pregnant and comes to the United States on vacation, they have a baby. All of a sudden, their entire family gets the benefits of American citizenship. I don’t think that’s what the framers of the 14th Amendment had in mind. I think it’s the right case. But look, it was 5-4. Sometimes the Supreme Court makes mistakes. We’re going to try to correct that mistake, but nobody’s perfect, including the Supreme Court. See you guys. Have a happy Fourth if I don’t talk to you,” Vance stated.

Vance took this same message to Laura Ingraham’s Fox News show the night before, where he noted the close ruling. He said this opened the door for Republicans to pass legislation eliminating birthright citizenship for babies born to illegal aliens.

“I know a lot of conservatives, Laura; certainly, the people that I’m talking to are extremely disappointed,” Vance declared. “I do think there is a big silver lining here, and that’s the simple fact that a lot of legal experts expected this case to go in the wrong direction by 7-2 or even 8-1. The fact that this case was a 5-4 decision effectively means that the concept of birthright citizenship, which is an absurdity to the 14th Amendment, is hanging by a thread.”
