Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Could Leave Congress For A Career Change No One Saw Coming

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez never planned to spend her entire political career in the House of Representatives.

But her time may be up sooner than anyone thought.

And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez could leave Congress for a career change no one saw coming.

As Conservative Revival reports:

A new CNN poll showed 75 percent of voters do not want Joe Biden to run for re-election in 2024.

Inflation is raging, the economy hit the technical benchmarks for a recession, the border is open to an illegal alien invasion, and America is facing the prospect of war with both Russia and Communist China.

Biden’s failures combined with the fact that at 79 Biden is in clear cognitive decline make it obvious Biden cannot physically or mentally run for re-election.

If Biden chooses not to run for a second term, then who will the Democrats nominate.

A host of Democrats – Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, and Hillary Clinton just to name a few – are preparing 2024 presidential campaigns in the likely even that Joe Biden does not run for re-election.

Democrat Party consultant Michael Starr Hopkins wrote an op-ed for The Hill that there was really only one option for the left in 2024 – Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Hopkins argued that Ocasio-Cortez spoke for the ascendent socialist movement and entered the 2024 election with the largest base of voters.

“She’s the voice of a movement that began after the banks were bailed out by the government, while homeowners were left to default. The simplicity with which she talks about everyday struggles hints that she’s not just a persona for consumption. She isn’t beholden to corporations, is a prodigious small-dollar fundraiser, and could out-Trump Trump like no other politician has been able to,” Hopkins wrote.

Hopkins claimed Ocasio-Cortez could run a forward looking campaign based on her biography.

“Ocasio-Cortez represents the possibilities and opportunities that make our country great. Where else could a 29-year-old bartender upset a political heavyweight and become a symbol for her generation?  AOC was never supposed to win her race. Few gave her a chance, but a funny thing happened: Voters loved her honesty, youth and humble beginnings. Voters were sick of career politicians who rarely came back to their districts. So they voted Joe Crowley out and AOC in. That wasn’t luck, that was fate. In a Democratic Party that looks more like a Golden Girls spin-off than a reflection of our rich diversity, AOC has become the face of a generation,” Hopkins continued.

Hopkins contended Ocasio-Cortez is the one Democrat who can go toe to toe with Donald Trump on social media.

“In the age of social media and quick sound bites, no Democrat is more prepared to embarrass a bully like Donald Trump,” Hopkins claimed. “She’s the voice of a movement that began after the banks were bailed out by the government, while homeowners were left to default,” Hopkins stated.

Democrats are also rapidly losing ground with Hispanic voters.

The embrace of woke ideology, grooming children into schools with sexualized curriculum about transgenderism, support for COVID lockdowns, and backing the violent Black Lives Matter movement pushed Latino voters to the Republican Party.

Democrats can’t change their policy agenda, so some party strategists think running an identity politics candidate like Ocasio-Cortez may pull Hispanics back into the fold.

That strategy is doomed to fail as Latino voters are rejecting the Democrat Party because of identity politics.

Ocasio-Cortez would be a double whammy as Hispanic voters who came to America from countries like Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and Columbia fled their homelands over fears of socialism.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is completely unelectable in 2024.

Will she run and will Democrats be able to resist nominating Ocasio-Cortez?
