Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wasn’t going to stay in the House of Representatives forever.

Ocasio-Cortez is coming up on her moment to choose.

And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to leave Congress for one jaw-dropping new job.

As Conservative Reboot reports:

The Democrat Party nomination fight in 2028 looks wide open.

Barack Obama’s failed attempt to reshape America using his political project, Joe Biden’s failed presidency, and Kamala Harris’ failed candidacy means the Democrat Party is hunting around for a new direction in the next election.

The Democrat Party lies in tatters at the moment as Americans repudiated the left for being a collection of woke scolds who wanted to cancel and censor their opponents, impose COVID mandates, brainwash kids into transgenderism, and open the border to millions of illegal aliens.

The current moment may be Ocasio-Cortez’s best chance to seize leadership of the Democrat Party.

Ocasio-Cortez saw her opening to try and chip away at Donald Trump’s multi-racial working-class coalition.

In an appearance on Jon Stewart’s podcast, Ocasio-Cortez tried to smear Donald Trump as a con man by claiming that the presence of tech billionaires Jeff Bezos of Amazon, Mark Zuckerberg of Meta, and Elon Musk at Trump’s inauguration meant Trump intended to sell out his working-class base.

“All of these people that were scared before about being associated with him from the the most common basic level to the most elite level, they’re they’re all in now because this is now a billionaire feeding frenzy,” Ocasio-Cortez ranted. “It is a kiss-ass race, man. It is. How can I show how much fealty I have to Donald Trump in order to get my digs?”

“What’s really important for people to understand now and every day of this administration is that you’re being ripped off. You’re being ripped off, dude! Like, everyone is being ripped off,” Ocasio-Cortez continued.

But what Ocasio-Cortez forgets is that Trump’s base doesn’t necessarily see wealthy people as their enemies.

Plenty of working-class Americans assemble Tesla cars, work in Amazon warehouses, or drive Amazon delivery vehicles.

Trump’s base rallies to him because Trump is their sword and shield against liberal elites who rig the system in their favor by weaponizing the justice system, supporting online censorship, supporting endless foreign wars abroad that someone else’s children go and fight in, and injecting woke ideology into their kids’ classrooms.

Trump rewarded his base by making good on his promises to sign executive orders to end asylum claims, end birthright citizenship, deploy the military to the border, ban DEI programs from government, and pardon the January 6 defendants as well as pro-life activists arrested for praying in front of abortion clinics.

Trump also rallied the business community to announce a $500 billion investment by Softbank, Oracle, and ChatGPT to build artificial intelligence hubs in America that will create 100,000 new jobs.

Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez never understood the base of Trump’s support from day one.

And Ocasio-Cortez showed she still doesn’t.
