Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Latest Humiliating Defeat Taught Her This Difficult Lesson

New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez thinks she is the future of the Democrat Party.

That is not the case.

And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s latest humiliating defeat taught her this difficult lesson.

As Conservative Revival reports:

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez backed candidates suffered crushing defeats across congressional primaries in New York State.

Socialist Congressman Mondaire Jones lost a primary to impeachment lawyer Daniel Goldman.

Democrat National Campaign Committee Chairman Sean Maloney vanquished State Assemblywoman Alessandra Biaggi.

Ocasio-Cortez backed both Jones and Biaggi.

After Ocasio-Cortez cast of candidates lost their primaries Democrat Party insiders crowed about how the results showed what little influence “The Squad” actually carried.

“The policies that The Squad stood for were never popular and the candidates who tried to mirror those policies are finding themselves out of Congress,” one Democrat strategist told the New York Post.

Former Clinton campaign strategist James Carville falsely claimed Democrat voters were not nearly as socialist as the candidates Ocasio-Cortez endorsed.

“What’s going on is simply that people who vote, the Democrats who actually vote, are significantly more pragmatic than the Democrats who talk,” Carville stated. “I don’t know how many times that voters have to tell these people who they are. You would have thought they learned their lesson in the 2020 presidential primaries.”

That is not true at all.

The candidates that won these primary elections are down the line leftists and socialists.

Democrats that win primaries don’t disagree with Ocasio-Cortez on much of anything.

But they did not associate themselves with Ocasio-Cortez, her pet causes such as defund the police or label themselves as socialists.

All three of those factors proved to be massive political losers in 2020.

Democrats entered the election cycle expecting to gain anywhere from 15 to 20 seats in the House of Representatives.

Instead, Republicans gained double digit seats and cut the Democrats’ majority to the party’s lowest level since World War Two.

Democrats know Ocasio-Cortez represents a losing path for the party.

The lesson Democrats took out of the 2020 election is they can run candidates – like Joe Biden – that like about being moderates but support all of Ocasio-Cortez’s radical socialist agenda.

But since these Democrats say they are moderates or centrists that is enough for their allies in the corporate media to gaslight the public into thinking Democrats running for office are not far-leftists or socialists.

Democrats that claim they are centrists cannot list one of disagreement with Ocasio-Cortez and her cohort.

So-called “centrist” Democrats support abortion on demand with no restriction up until the moment of birth, banning and confiscating firearms from the American people, amnesty for illegal aliens, and election fraud legislation that would eviscerate voter ID laws while imposing ballot harvesting and universal mail-in-voting on every state.
