Andrew Cuomo’s been awash in scandals for over a year.
The bill may finally be coming due.
And Andrew Cuomo found out some bad news about the police planning to charge him.
As Conservative Revival reports:
The whole Democratic Party was singing the praise of a single person not long ago.
Now they’re just hoping that their words will be forgotten.
A top Democrat went pale with horror as he heard there are plans for his arrest.
All last year Democrats showered unceasing praise on New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo despite the fact that the governor forced nursing homes in his state to take in Covid positive patients.
“I think Governor Cuomo is capable of being president. I think he’s a great guy,”Joe Biden said during a CNN interview on April 16, 2020.
This wasn’t the only time that Biden went out of his way to compliment Cuomo.
“Your governor of New York has done one hell of a job. I think he’s sort of the gold standard,” Biden remarked on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on April 1, 2020.
Cuomo at the time was a useful tool for Democrats because he would consistently attack former President Donald Trump despite New York having one of the highest death rates in the country.
The Democrats were willing to look the other way for months as Cuomo enacted policies that potentially led to further deaths at his nursing homes and then refused to reveal the true number.
After Trump left office Democrats claimed to be outraged that he acted inappropriately towards women while governor.
Cuomo was forced to resign based on the Attorney General’s report and now is facing arrest due to a charge of forcible touching, according to the Albany County Sheriff.
If charged with the Class A misdemeanor he could potentially get the maximum one-year jail sentence.
The former aide, 33-year-old Brittany Commisso, alleges that Cuomo “did intentionally, and for no legitimate purpose, forcibly place his hand under the blouse shirt of the victim…and onto her intimate body part.”Commisso claimed in an interview that Cuomo “put his hand up my blouse and cupped my breast over my bra.”
Commisso’s lawyer, Brian Premo, told the Post his client “was surprised by the turn of events but she has been and will remain a resolute cooperating victim in pursuit of blind justice.”
“It was my client’s understanding that the district attorney’s office would conduct a thorough apolitical investigation into the matter,” Premo added, “and then discuss all relevant issues with my client before any decision was made about whether a criminal action would be commenced only after she gave her informed consent,” he said.
“It was her understanding that the sheriff’s office had also agreed to that process since the district attorney is the prosecuting authority.”
This isn’t the end of the bad news for Cuomo since four other district attorneys could potentially go after Cuomo.
