Clarence Thomas Waited 30 Years To Hand Joe Biden This Defeat

Joe Biden oversaw the smear job Democrats ran against Clarence Thomas during his Supreme Court confirmation hearings.

Conservatives wondered when Thomas would strike back for his revenge.

Clarence Thomas waited 30 years to hand Joe Biden this defeat.

As Black Eye Politics reports:

Democrats may have control of Congress and the White House, but there is little chance they will be able to get most of their agenda passed and imposed without a Supreme Court challenge.

And thanks to President Donald Trump’s three Supreme Court picks over the last four years, Republicans ostensibly control a majority of the court for the first time in decades.

Of course, the GOP’s control over the court rests upon Republican-appointed justices like John Roberts, who have burned Republicans in the past on rulings like the Obamacare case, but there are already signs that even with moderate Republicans like Roberts on the court, there are several left-wing agenda items that will soon be facing the chopping block later this year.

And led by the likes of conservative stalwarts like Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas, there are as many as eight critical Supreme Court cases that could leave Joe Biden’s presidency in tatters.

The Washington Examiner reports, “During its 2021-2022 session, the Supreme Court will hear 31 cases. Eight of those cases involve some aspect of healthcare, including three cases that deal in some way with abortion.”

While many of these court cases deal with abortion laws throughout the country and could derail Planned Parenthood which has emerged as one of the largest donors to the Democratic Party in recent years, others could strike a direct blow to Biden’s agenda in Washington.

Any of these cases could see much of Planned Parenthood’s coffers run dry, which would deal a crippling blow to Democrats in the 2022 and 2024 elections.

Several of the cases could end up destroying parts or potentially even the entirety of Obamacare, which has survived one major court challenge before in 2012 when Chief Justice John Roberts stunned the nation by siding with the court’s liberal justices in upholding the law.

Such a ruling could spell curtains for Democrats in Washington, who have used the Obamacare issue to rally their own voters in the 2020 elections, and will likely be doing the same in 2022.

But still, other cases will possibly rely on other justices to determine the outcome, particularly two of the court’s newest appointees, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett.

Kavanaugh and Barrett were appointed in 2018 and in 2020, right before the presidential election, and both have issued rulings in the past that have decisively swung the court one way or the other.

And while both certainly lean conservative, there were cases before where the two have sided with the court’s liberal minority.
