The corporate media is desperate to stop one Republican.

Activists in the press are losing their minds.

And CNN lost it after a rising star Republican made one announcement on Fox News.

As Great American Daily reports:

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appeared on “Fox and Friends” for an exclusive interview as DeSantis signed a new election integrity bill into law in a hotel room surrounded by reporters.

The new legislation banned mass mailing of unsolicited ballots, restricted ballot harvesting—which allowed political operatives to collect bags full of ballots—and regulated ballot drop boxes.

DeSantis praised the law for beefing up ballot security by enhancing voter ID requirements.

“I have what we think is the strongest election integrity measures in the country,” DeSantis told “Fox and Friends.” “We’re making sure we’re enforcing voter ID… We’re also banning ballot harvesting. We’re not gonna let political operatives go and get satchels of votes to dump them in some drop box.”

DeSantis explained how the law would restore faith in elections by cutting down any potential for fraud by getting ahead of how problems could arise.

“We’re also prohibiting mass mailing of balloting. We’ve had absentee voting in Florida for a long time. You request the ballot. You get it. And you mail it in. But to just indiscriminately send them out is not a recipe for success,” DeSantis added.

Governor DeSantis also told “Fox and Friends” that the legislation regulated drop boxes by standardizing them and making sure they are monitored and only available for use during regular business hours to prevent any tampering.

“The drop boxes will be available only when they’re monitored and during regular voting hours,” DeSantis added, “You can’t just leave these boxes out where there’s not supervision all hours of the night.”

The corporate media complained that the signing ceremony was “secret”—which was just another deranged attack on DeSantis by the Democrat partisans in the press.

“It was on national TV, it wasn’t secret,” DeSantis simply responded.

Democrats would like the emergency rules for the 2020 election to be in place forever.

Republicans argue the pandemic will be long over by the 2022 and 2024 elections take place and it’s time to go back to normal and like elections were run in 2018.

Democrats and the fake news media smear the idea of returning to pre-2020 election practices as “Jim Crow.”

One reason Governor Ron DeSantis’ star is rising so quickly in the Republican Party is he rejects the premise of the fake news media and Democrats’ attacks on Republican policies and fights back.

How Governor DeSantis responded to the election integrity bill, and his ability to dismiss the fake news media lies, were yet another example of this principle playing out in real time.
