Kamala Harris suffered a devastating setback.
Harris wanted to keep her honeymoon period going.
And Kamala Harris got called out for the one failure that could cost her everything.
As Swamp Digest reports:
No matter what Democrats might try to say, Kamala Harris wasn’t swapped in as the Democrat nominee because of her superb qualifications for the office of president.
The truth is she just so happened to be the other person on the ticket at the time. And the only reason she was picked for the VP ticket was because she checked off all the Democrats demographic boxes.
This isn’t a conspiracy theory – it’s what Joe Biden said himself. In March of 2020, he vowed to pick a female as his running mate. And in July of 2020, he said he had four black women on his shortlist.
Ever since Harris took office, it’s been clear she isn’t up for the job. And nothing has exposed her failures more than the border crisis.
According to The Hill, “House Republicans approved a resolution Thursday that condemns Vice President Harris as the Biden administration’s ‘border czar,’ the latest move by GOP lawmakers to criticize Harris as she mounts a bid for the White House after President Biden withdrew from the race.”
“The resolution — spearheaded by Rep. Elise Stefanik (N.Y.), the GOP conference chair — cleared the chamber in a 220-196 vote. Six Democrats voted ‘yes.’”
It’s clear Republicans are not going to let it be forgotten that Harris made border security worse and not better.
“The measure, which spans four pages, takes aim at Harris’s handling of the situation at the southern border, referring to her as the Biden administration’s ‘border czar.’ Biden in 2021 selected Harris to lead the administration’s efforts to address the root causes of migration, a matter that was top of mind when Democrats entered the White House that year. He did not, however, formally give Harris the title of ‘border czar,’” the article continues.
Whether that was her official title or not, that was her direct assignment. She was supposed to clean up the mess at the southern border.
Now she is going to have to explain to voters, especially in states near the border, why her border security efforts were such an abject failure.
Many independent voters are not happy.
And House Republicans, in their effort to elect Trump and defeat Harris, will be more than happy to continue reminding people about her failures to secure the border.
