Donald Trump Found Out Republicans May Abandon Him For One Reason

Establishment Republicans want Donald Trump gone.

But Trump plans to run for re-election.

And Donald Trump found out Republicans may abandon him for one reason.

As Great American Daily reports:

Ryan sat for an interview with Teneo, a public relations firm where Ryan serves as its vice chair.

In the interview Ryan dished on the 2024 presidential race.

Donald Trump is widely expected to declare his intention to run for re-election shortly after the midterm election.

Ryan falsely claimed that if Trump did declare his bid for president it would not matter because Republican voters would see that Trump is unelectable.

“I think Trump’s unelectability will be palpable by then,” Ryan said. “We all know that he will lose. We all know that he is so much more likely to lose the White House than anybody else running for president on our side of the aisle, so why would we want to go with that?”

To be clear, there is no evidence to back up this statement.

The Real Clear Politics polling average shows Trump leading Joe Biden by 0.4 percent in a potential head-to-head match-up.

And the latest ABC/Washington Post poll finds Trump besting Biden 48 to 46 percent.

Polling data in the key swing states also shows Trump leading Biden.

Polls from The Hill/Emerson find Trump holding a two-point edge over Biden in Georgia and a one-point lead in Pennsylvania.

There is zero evidence that Donald Trump is unelectable as should Trump run against Biden, Trump can point to the fact that inflation was 1.4 percent, gas prices were $2.39 per gallon, the southern border was secure and there was relative peace across the globe when Trump left office.

Trump can compare that record to now when inflation surged to 8.2 percent, gas prices sit at $3.90, four million illegal aliens invaded the United States, and Joe Biden bungled the world to the edge of nuclear holocaust.

Paul Ryan ignored all of those facts to push his Never Trump fantasies.

Ryan claimed that Trump running for re-election would not clear the field of Republican presidential hopefuls who would all then gang up on Trump attacking him.

“The only reason he stays where he is is because everybody’s afraid of him,” Ryan continued. “They’re afraid of him going after them, hurting their own ambition. But as soon as you sort of get the herd mentality going, it’s unstoppable.”

This dynamic, Ryan claimed, would lead to Trump failing to secure the nomination.

“Whether he runs or not, I don’t really know if it matters,” Ryan concluded. “He’s not going to be the nominee, I don’t think.”

Paul Ryan is a Mitt Romney/John McCain-style RINO that never once lifted a finger to fight Democrats while smiling and nodding as the media lied and smeared Republicans.

Ryan believes the GOP’s job is to be honorable losers while supporting the big government consensus in Washington on open borders, amnesty, globalist trade deals and reckless foreign wars.

Donald Trump threatened that status quo.

And Paul Ryan is desperate to snuff out a Trump comeback.
