Everyone was expecting a Donald Trump comeback.

But Trump had a surprise up his sleeve.

And Donald Trump threw everyone a curveball with this announcement about his future.

As Conservative Revival reports:

Donald Trump was Twitter’s most high-profile user.

But after the events of January 6 Twitter joined with other leftwing social media companies and banned President Trump in an attempt to censor him politically.

Twitter’s suspensions are permanent.

However, Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s $43 billion hostile takeover attempt led many to believe if Musk buys Twitter then Musk will reinstate Trump’s account.

In his financial filing to buy Twitter, Musk announced he planned to make Twitter a private – as opposed to publicly traded on the stock market – company.

“I now realize the company will neither thrive nor serve this societal imperative in its current form,” Musk wrote.

Musk added that democracy cannot function in a society where censorship limits public discourse.

“I believe free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning democracy,” Musk added.

But even if Elon Musk succeeds in buying Twitter and reinstating Donald Trump’s account, Trump revealed he would not return to the platform.

In an interview with Americano Media Trump stated his attention to promote his own platform Truth Social.

“We’re doing a big platform right now,” Trump declared.

Trump explained that the excessive censorship on Twitter damaged the platform’s appeal and that the leftwing activists working at the company nuked so many interesting accounts in the name of protecting the Democrat Party that Trump no longer believed Twitter presented a worthwhile experience.

“So probably wouldn’t have any interest. You know, Twitter has become very boring,” Trump continued.

“They’ve gotten rid of a lot of their good voices on Twitter, a lot of conservative voices and it used to be a war on Twitter, but it was a very interesting war,” Trump added.

“You know, it’d be a war mental mentally … we had some pretty good fights,” Trump stated.

Trump told Americano Media that in his time on Twitter conservatives were allowed to challenge to authoritarian left on their dictatorial policies and lies.

“And we would go after the progressives – I call them the unprogressives because they’re actually unprogressive,” Trump explained.

“But we’d be fighting back and forth and it was great stuff.,” Trump said.

Trump recounted how his friends told them Twitter is not the same platform since the intense censorship regime kicked into high gear.

“Now it’s boring and friends of mine tell me that Twitter is not the same place. It’s a very boring place right now,” Trump concluded.

Donald Trump looks very likely to launch a political comeback with a 2024 Presidential campaign.

But a Trump comeback on Twitter does not look like it is in the cards.
