Fox News Tricked Joe Biden Into Saying Something That Left Every Democrat Shaking Their Head

Joe Biden does not like to take questions from Fox News for a reason.

But Biden let his guard down and disaster soon followed.

And Fox News tricked Joe Biden into saying something that left every Democrat shaking their head.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

When Biden’s lawyers revealed Biden pilfered stolen documents and hid them in three different locations — including a box next to his Corvette at a home records show is owned by Hunter Biden — the Biden team tried to claim it was all an accident.

But Biden’s defense that he inadvertently took the documents six years ago because the staff was in a rush to pack up the vice president’s residence crumbled.

Biden talked himself into legal jeopardy because of one shrewd question from Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy.

“Mr. President, classified materials, next to your Corvette? What were you thinking?” Doocy wondered.

Biden fell right for the trap and claimed there was nothing wrong with storing classified documents in a box next to his Corvette because Biden put a lock on his garage.

“My Corvette’s in a locked garage, okay? So it’s not like they’re sitting out on the street,” Biden answered.

Biden’s mistake was obvious to all.

If Biden knew he stashed classified documents in his locked garage then Biden could not have taken them inadvertently.

Fox News contributor Guy Benson applauded Doocy for teasing out the truth from Biden.

“I want to give some credit to our colleague Peter Doocy who very cleverly I think baited the president into making the news that he did,” Benson began. “Because it was a brick wall at the press briefing today.”

Benson noted that Biden was all set to read off a prepared statement written by his lawyers but Doocy’s question threw off Biden who began speaking off-the-cuff and made the damaging admission about knowing he stored classified documents in his garage which meant that Biden knew he stole the documents in the first place.

“Biden had a card in front of him with a prepared statement to read. And he started to read it. He got about a syllable in, but that word ‘Corvette’ clearly was like an earworm in his brain that Peter had sort of set the question up that way and he couldn’t resist commenting on it. Then he made the news saying, ‘Oh yeah, it’s in a locked garage with my Corvette. It’s not like it was out on the street.’ Which is nowhere close to the standard of what the law mandates when it comes to classified material material,” Benson continued.

Benson finished by saying Biden’s comments “probably caused somebody in the White House Counsel’s Office to punch a wall somewhere.”
