The View is a show that few Trump supporters can stomach.
Many wonder why it’s still even on the air.
And The View’s future is in doubt because of one bad surprise.
As American Media Watchdog reports:
Fox News Channel’s Faulkner Focus pulled a nearly impossible feat by drawing in bigger ratings than The View for the 11AM time slot.
“In January’s cable news ratings, Fox News Channel’s The Faulkner Focus beat ABC’s long-running The View for the first time ever, with host Harris Faulkner delivering an average total audience of 2.552 million viewers, just ahead of The View’s 2.508 million. The win is even more notable given the larger reach of broadcast television, available to anyone without cable,” Forbes reported.
As Forbes noted, ABC is a broadcast network and has far more viewer reach than a cable station like Fox News.
As of January 2025, Fox News was available in 70 million homes, whereas over-the-air ABC could reach 97 percent of households with one television.
Faulker gave all the credit to her team for getting the show up and running every day.
“I could not grab this big win without my wonderful team,” Faulkner stated.
“It’s a testament to the hard work and passion we put into bringing Americans the latest news and analysis on what matters most to them. The Faulkner Focus is a place where audiences can tune in and know their questions about the day’s headlines will be answered with respect for all sides and we are proud viewers continue to choose us at 11 a.m.”
But this story continues the trend of Fox News gaining in the ratings.
At the end of 2024, Fox News’ ratings were up 21 percent from 2023.
That ratings growth has continued into 2025.
Americans are tired of leftwing networks feeding them anti-Trump propaganda.
It’s why CNN and MSNBC ratings also fell by around half after the election.
And Bill O’Reilly predicted this disaster coming.
In an interview on Jillian Michaels’ podcast, O’Reilly said the audience was sick of The View cohosts peddling nothing but Trump hate.
O’Reilly told Michaels that the ratings for The View were sinking to dangerously low levels and that corporate parent Disney would have to decide whether to step in and make significant changes to the show’s presentation, sell it off, or cancel it altogether.
“Now it’s like, your head’s going to blow off. They only have two million people watching them. Why does ABC News want to ruin their brand by this? So Disney is going to have to take The View over. That’ll happen pretty soon,” O’Reilly stated.
