George Soros Has One Secret Plan To Ban Trump From Running In 2024

If there is one thing that terrifies Democrats it is the idea of Donald Trump back in the White House.

But the left always has a trick up its sleeve.

And George Soros has one secret plan to ban Trump from running in 2024.

As Great American Daily reports:

The January 6 committee issued the final report of their witch hunt against Donald Trump.

In order for this sham committee to provide a fig leaf to pass constitutional muster panel members claimed they had a legitimate legislative purpose.

Part of the supposedly “legitimate legislative purpose” came in the committee’s recommendations including a call for Congress to ban Trump from ever holding office again under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

“The report, released as Trump begins his bid for reelection, recommends that Congress consider banning the former president from holding office again, citing the 14th Amendment, which bars those who have ‘engaged in an insurrection’ or offered ‘aid and comfort to the enemies’ of the Constitution. It also details how ahead of the Jan. 6 attack, red flags about potential deadly violence were ignored. The committee behind the report will disband within days,” the Washington Post reported.

Congress ratified the 14th Amendment following the Civil War to guarantee equal protection under the law for all Americans.

But it also included language intending to bar high-ranking Confederate officials from ever holding elected office again.

Section 3 of the 14th Amendment reads:

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

The idea that Donald Trump engaged in an insurrection against the United States government is preposterous on its face.

Trump merely challenged election results — even under novel legal theories that largely amounted to bad advice — but never took up arms or waged rebellion.

And Trump was most certainly not a Confederate military officer.

While this suggestion is dead in the next Congress George Soros or other deep-pocketed Democrat donors will likely fund lawsuits against Trump in primary states to kick him off the ballot claiming the 14th Amendment renders Trump ineligible.

The left’s waged legal warfare against Trump with phony investigations in New York, Georgia, and at the federal level.

One of the goals is to smear Trump and make Republicans think he is unelectable due to all the scandals.

But the other is to hope they get the case in front of the right judge and that the eventual Supreme Court appeal will fail because swing justices won’t want to be seen as enabling Trump in the election.
