Joe Biden Got Some Bad News In The Polls That Brought Back Nightmares of 2016

Democrats and the fake news media are trying to convince Trump supporters that the President is hopelessly behind in the polls and the only question left is how much Joe Biden will win by.

This is what happened in the last election.

And now Joe Biden got some bad news in the polls that brought back nightmares of 2016.

Of all places, it was radical left-wing propaganda outfit MSNBC that hit Democrats with a reality check.

First, historian and MSNBC contributor Jon Meacham took stock of the polls and dismissed the idea Joe Biden held an insurmountable lead because he did think Trump voters were being honest with pollsters.

Meacham warned MSNBC’s viewers that many Americans will who will vote “for the incumbent are not going to tell pollsters.”

That was followed by “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough cautioned his left-wing audience that polls showing Joe Biden up by double digits in the state of Florida would inevitably tighten.

“You see a poll by Joe Biden [sic] ahead by 12 points in the state of Florida, and I just find it hard to believe that even though that may be what people are telling pollsters in July, that’s not how they’re going to be voting,” Scarborough explained. “I’d be surprised, Mika, if all of these races don’t tighten up significantly toward the end. But, you know, Arizona is a great example of the state where Biden has stubbornly maintained a lead four points, five points, six points, eight points, three points. It reminds me of Ohio in 2012 where Barack Obama just consistently and steadily stayed ahead of Romney three points, four points, five points through the entire race.”

Scarborough also tried to temper his viewers’ expectations by noting that it was not impossible for Donald Trump to come back and win the election.

“So, again, that 50% is just a poll,” Scarborough continued. “We’re only in July … yeah, 100 days. But when people start, candidates start hitting that 50% threshold, and you also see Joe Biden’s favorables far different than Hillary Clinton’s four years ago, this is a little more baked in than what we saw four years ago. Doesn’t mean it’s not going to tighten up. Doesn’t mean that Joe Biden’s necessarily going to win. It just means the climb for the president’s team [is] much higher.”

As in any election the focus of the media coverage centers on the horse race polls.

Reliable voices on the left are throwing up caution flags to Democrats not to believe the polls.

That matched up with Trump officials also noting they believe the polls overstate Joe Biden’s lead.

Vice President Mike Pence has said in the past that polling is “broken.”

Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh took aim at public polls for only including 24 percent Republicans in their sample when in the 2016 and 2018 elections Republicans made up 33 percent of the electorate.

Donald Trump defied the pollsters once before.

MSNBC hosts and contributors like Scarborough and Meacham understand this reality and are sounding the alarm that the polls may be wrong again.
