Alvin Bragg’s conviction against Donald Trump isn’t turning into the political winner Democrats hoped.
In fact, Trump’s poll numbers keep going up.
And now Judge Judy wrecked Alvin Bragg by speaking one simple truth.
As 2024 Battleground reports:
Judith Sheindlin starred as the no-nonsense Judge Judy on her eponymous show Judge Judy for 25 years.
As a native New Yorker, former prosecutor, and judge, Sheindlin offered a unique perspective regarding the trial Donald Trump faced in Manhattan.
During an interview on CNN, Sheindlin proceeded to stun host Chris Wallace who asked her if Donald Trump abused the legal system by exercising his right to appeal and pretrial motions which likely delayed all but the Alvin Bragg show trial past the 2024 election.
“I would be happier as someone who owns property in Manhattan if the District Attorney of New York County would take care of criminals who are making it impossible for citizens to walk in the streets and use the subway – to use his efforts to keep those people off the streets then to spend $5 million of $10 million of taxpayer money trying Donald Trump on this nonsense,” Sheindlin stated.
“That’s my view,” Sheindlin added that “I – as a taxpayer in this country – resent using the system for your own personal self-aggrandizement.”
This wasn’t what Wallace was expecting at all – nor the network’s dwindling number of viewers who have gotten used to receiving healthy doses of anti-Trump propaganda and slogans.
Wallace then asked Sheindlin if she believed Bragg weaponized the justice system against Trump for political gain.
“That’s what I think,” Sheindlin declared.
“You have to twist yourself into a pretzel to figure out what the crime was,” Sheindlin said of the sham charges Bragg brought against Trump.
Sheindlin then suggested Trump couldn’t receive a fair trial in New York due to the political hatred of Trump from a Democrat prosecutor and overwhelmingly Democrat jury pool.
“He [Bragg] doesn’t like him[Trump]. New York didn’t like him for a while,” Sheindlin continued.
Wallace then asked Sheindlin what she thought of Trump.
“What do I think of him,” Sheindlin began. “I think he was a good businessman, a real estate guy and he was certainly terrific on The Apprentice.”
Sheindlin made it clear she was no Trump fan saying he never should have been President.
But even critics like Sheindlin can understand that this case brought on by Bragg was nothing but dirty politics to interfere in the election.
That’s why the latest round of swing state polls from Emerson and The Hill showed Donald Trump leading in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and tied with Biden in Minnesota – a state so deep a shade of blue that not even Ronald Reagan could win it in his 49-state landslide in 1984.
