Democrats assumed 2024 was when Kamala Harris would take over for Joe Biden.

But that may not be the case.

And Kamala Harris flipped out when she heard that this big name Democrat could challenge her in 2024.

As Great American Daily reports:

Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle created a global controversy when she and her husband Prince Harry sat for an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

In the interview Markle launched the latest salvo in the cancel culture war by claiming the British royal family was racist.

Markle’s Oprah interview may be the start of something much grander than just settling a family feud.

Now reports out of the United Kingdom are claiming that Markle is preparing for a presidential run as a Democrat.

The Daily Mail exclusively reports:

“One senior Labour figure – a veteran of Tony Blair’s Downing Street administration with strong links to Washington – claimed to The Mail on Sunday that Ms Markle, 39, was networking among senior Democrats with a view to building a campaign and fundraising teams for a tilt at the US Presidency.

“Last night, a source close to the Duchess of Sussex declined to comment, but the couple have made little secret of their political beliefs…

“…A source said: ‘The Blairite, internationalist and Democratic party networks are buzzing with talk about Meghan’s political ambitions and potential backers.’”

The Daily Mail also reported that Markle would be considering a run in 2024 if Joe Biden—as many expect—will not seek re-election due to his age and declining cognitive functions.

“The source added that the presumption was that the Duchess was eyeing 2024, when President Joe Biden will be 82 and deciding whether he wants to run for a second term,” the Daily Mail reported.

If Joe Biden bows out of a 2024 re-election campaign, it is widely assumed that Kamala Harris would be the odds-on frontrunner to lead the Democrat ticket.

But Harris was a historically weak candidate.

Harris dropped out of the Democrat primary months before the first votes were cast in the nominating contest.

When Harris bowed out of the race she had almost no support in the polls or any ability to raise money.

Even if Harris enters the 2024 race as the sitting Vice President, other Democrats—like Meghan Markle—would not view her as an unbeatable force of nature.

If Markle runs for president it would open up a can of worms.

Would Markle have to renounce her title?

How would a member of the royal family function as president?

America literally fought a revolution to not be ruled by English monarchy.

Now the Duchess of Sussex may ask Americans to elevate her to the position of Commander-in-Chief.
