Kamala Harris thought she could bully Donald Trump.
But Kamala Harris bit off more than she could chew.
And Donald Trump forced Kamala Harris to back down in this major fight.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Kamala Harris first claimed Donald Trump couldn’t agree to new debates because his agreement for only one more debate on September 10 with Joe Biden was still in effect.
Then Harris tried to change the rules to unmute the microphones when the other candidate was speaking.
Harris’ campaign wanted Trump to interrupt Harris so Harris could fire back with her “excuse me, I am speaking” line which the press could then play up as an iconic moment of Harris standing up to Trump to be the feminist girl boss version of Joe Welch snapping “have you no sense of decency?” at Senator McCarthy.
In addition, Trump’s campaign reported that Harris’ handlers so didn’t trust Harris to perform without a net that they asked for both candidates to be seated during the debate and be allowed to bring a cheat sheet of notes on stage with them.
Trump’s campaign rejected all of these demands.
And Trump later posted on Truth Social that Kamala’s handlers eventually agreed to hold the debate under the already-agreed-upon rules.
“I have reached an agreement with the Radical Left Democrats for a Debate with Comrade Kamala Harris. It will be Broadcast Live on ABC FAKE NEWS, by far the nastiest and most unfair newscaster in the business, on Tuesday, September 10th, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Rules will be the same as the last CNN Debate, which seemed to work out well for everyone except, perhaps, Crooked Joe Biden,” Trump stated.
Trump said Kamala’s attempts to rig the debate in her favor failed and that both candidates would be on an even playing field.
“The Debate will be ‘stand up,’ and Candidates cannot bring notes, or ‘cheat sheets.’ We have also been given assurance by ABC that this will be a ‘fair and equitable’ Debate, and that neither side will be given the questions in advance (No Donna Brazile!),” Trump said, referencing ABC commentator Donna Brazile giving Hillary Clinton debate questions in advance when Brazile worked at CNN in the 2016 election.
But Trump did have some bad news.
And that was the fact that Kamala Harris was too afraid to debate him on Fox News.
“Harris would not agree to the FoxNews Debate on September 4th, but that date will be held open in case she changes her mind or, Flip Flops, as she has done on every single one of her long held and cherished policy beliefs. A possible third Debate, which would go to NBC FAKE NEWS, has not been agreed to by the Radical Left. GOD BLESS AMERICA!” Trump concluded.
