The press bias in the 2024 election is as bad as its ever been.
That’s riling up conservatives.
And Megyn Kelly had enough and let loose with this brutal smackdown.
As Swamp Digest reports:
Democrats and their allies in the media ran a smear campaign against JD Vance over comments he had made three years ago on Tucker Carlson’s show.
Vance attacked the Democrats anti-family policies saying, “All I am really saying is we are effectively run in this country – be it via the Democrats, be it via corporate oligarchs – by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices they’ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too.”
“And it’s just a basic fact — you look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC — the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children. And how does it make any sense that we’ve turned our country over to people who don’t really have a direct stake in it?” Vance concluded.
Led by Jennifer Aniston, the Democrat Party focused on Vance’s comments mocking “cat ladies” and claimed he hated women in an effort to rally female voters around Harris and prevent a repeat of 2016 where Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton.
Vance appeared on Megyn Kelly’s show to discuss the ginned-up controversy.
Trump’s running mate told Kelly he was glad the media ignited this fake scandal because it allowed him to talk about how the Democrats’ policies made it harder for Americans to start a family.
“I’m actually glad the left has attacked me over this because I think it started an important conversation about how our society became so profoundly anti-family,“ Vance began.
Vance explained that the only point he was trying to make was that becoming a parent changes how you look at the world and Democrats making it harder for Americans to have children is a bad thing.
“The simple point that I made is that having children – becoming a father, becoming a mother – I really do think it changes your perspective in a pretty profound way. This is something, of course, we have recognized for hundreds of years in this country and that human civilization has always recognized.”
“It’s not a criticism of people who don’t have children… This is about criticizing the Democratic Party for becoming anti-family and anti-child,” Vance added.
“We have to ask ourselves: Why do we have masking of toddlers years after the pandemic ended? Why do we have the Harris campaign coming out this very morning and saying that we should not have the child tax credit which lowers tax rates for parents of young children? It’s because they have become anti-family and anti-kid,” Vance concluded.
Kelly applauded Vance’s interview in a writeup on her website saying the “manipulative media” would distort Vance’s comments to distract from the Democrat Party’s record of being anti-woman and anti-girl.
“The trick is so old and watching them all rush to condemn a comment like this has just gotten so tiresome. I have seen it so many times now. For some of our younger viewers who are experiencing this, it might seem genuine. It might seem like they are really mad. But once you get to be my old age, you start to see the patterns for what they are. This is a manipulation,” Kelly wrote.
Kelly said Democrats don’t want to talk about how they’ve forced children to wear masks in schools, pushed young girls to undergo body mutilating transgender surgeries, and allowed biological men to play in women’s sports – so they tried to generate a controversy about Vance instead.
