And Megyn Kelly wanted Elon Musk to make this big decision.

Donald Trump tasked Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy with co-chairing the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
Musk said he could identify two trillion dollars in savings, so Trump told them to get to work.
Megyn Kelly knew exactly where Musk and Ramaswamy could start.
The nearly $100 million dollar a year subsidy to National Public Radio (NPR).
Kelly cited a ridiculous story NPR just ran about how men can get periods as evidence that the station shouldn’t receive one penny in taxpayer money.
“NPR gets almost $100 million of taxpayer money a year, $91 million. That’s crazy. Armani was out on X yesterday calling attention to a segment he had just listened to where they were saying, women are not the only ones who get periods,” Kelly declared.
Kelly said that was just the start of the litany of woke, leftwing propaganda that NPR churns out.
“I don’t wish to fund that. I don’t wish to fund that message. It is not objective and it is not truthful. And our team put together some examples of our own on NPR’s reporting that all of us are paying for. Watch,” Kelly continued.
Kelly told her listeners on her podcast that she wanted Elon Musk’s DOGE to go full “Edward Scissorhands” – the Johnny Depp movie where he plays an artificial humanoid with scissors for hands – and slash the taxpayer subsidy for NPR.
“I want to see Edward Scissorhands,” Kelly added. “That’s who I want to see go in and take care of NPR and the like…It’s a disgusting journalistic outlet. It’s just propaganda, and that’s fine if you want to label yourself that and just come out openly as left wing, great, do it,” Kelly continued.
Kelly explained that the left’s quest to create their podcast ecosystem – after Donald Trump won this election by going on podcasts like Joe Rogan’s – meant there should be a demand for NPR to market their brand of leftwing internet radio shows.
“There’s a market for you. The left is begging for that kind of crap right now. They’re pretending that they don’t have any outlets, that they’re all right-wing podcasts that control the world,” Kelly stated matter-of-factly.
Kelly then began reading off headlines from NPR’s website that demonstrated the outlet was nothing more than a pro-Democrat Party hype machine.
“Breaking: Donald Trump, who tried to overthrow the results of the 2020 presidential election and inspired a deadly riot at the Capitol in a desperate attempt to keep himself in power, has filed to run for president again in 2024,” a headline describing Donald Trump’s re-election campaign announcement read.
“A man has been convicted of murder in the killing of Laken Riley,” an NPR headline about the guilty verdict of the illegal alien who murdered nursing student Laken Riley read.
“Just a man,” Kelly exclaimed.
NPR left out of the headline that it was an illegal alien gang member – who was released into the United States by Kamala Harris and then released again after getting arrested for committing a crime against a child – who killed Laken Riley.
NPR – like all other big media outlets – only cares about advancing the left’s agenda, so all news is carefully presented to leave out any relevant facts that could hurt Democrats.
Megyn Kelly says NPR has every right to operate like a leftist house organ.
But Megyn Kelly doesn’t think taxpayers should have to subsidize it anymore and is asking Elon Musk’s DOGE to slash it off the books.
