Michelle Obama Took One Step Into the 2020 Race That No One Saw Coming

Former First Lady Michelle Obama is every Democrat’s dream Presidential candidate.

But until recently everyone thought that ship had sailed.

And then Michelle Obama took one step into the 2020 race that no one saw coming.

As Great American Daily reports:

For three years, Michelle Obama has been every Democrats’ dream presidential candidate.

Even some Republicans believe she is the strongest Democrat challenger because of her ability to supercharge turnout among black and single women voters.

But Michelle Obama has denied any interest in running for president.

When Joe Biden floated her name as his top choice for vice president, Obama had her surrogates shoot down the rumor with on-the-record quotes in the press about the former First Lady having no interest in the position.

But then two things changed.

First, corroborating evidence backing up Tara Reade’s allegations that Joe Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993 surfaced.

These smoking guns came in the form of two corroborating witnesses – an ex-neighbor and a friend that worked in a California State senator’s office – stepping forward and going on the record with Business Insider with their story that Reade told them about how Biden allegedly sexually assaulted Reade, as well as video tape of Reade’s mother calling into Larry King’s CNN show on August 11, 1993 to describe how her daughter had a problem with a senator.

The second bombshell development was Michelle Obama announcing Netflix would premiere a documentary on May 6 about her memoir, “Becoming.”

“I’m excited to share that on May 6, @Netflix will release BECOMING, a documentary directed by Nadia Hallgren that shares the stories of the amazing people I met after the release of my memoir. During this difficult time, I hope you’ll find some inspiration and joy in this film,” Obama posted to her social media account.

The American people are shut in their homes due to government lockdowns.

There are no sports on TV and no movies in the theaters.

Streaming content platforms like Netflix are the only game in town.

That means when Netflix’s documentary about Michelle Obama’s memoir premieres in early May, it is guaranteed to have a captive audience.

Democrats are not excited about Joe Biden’s candidacy.

Polls show record low levels of enthusiasm among Democrat voters.

A slick Hollywood documentary on the popular Netflix platform could incite a wave of nostalgia sweeping across Democrat voters for the Obama era.

And with the Reade sexual assault allegations gaining steam by the day, it is easy to imagine Democrats looking for an alternative.

Michelle Obama never ran for president because Obama and her political allies always claim the former First Lady hates the idea of traveling around the country, speaking to crowds and doing the little things like shaking hands that politicians are expected to do.

But now the primaries are over.

Delegates to the Democratic National Convention – in whatever form it is held – could hand her the nomination on a silver platter and use the sexual assault allegations against Biden as the excuse for pulling a switcheroo.

Great American Daily will keep you up to date on any new developments in this ongoing story.
