Mitt Romney began 2020 trying to remove President Trump through impeachment.
Romney then effectively endorsed Joe Biden.
And Mitt Romney threw in the towel on this big loss against Donald Trump.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Mitt Romney thought he secured a final victory over Donald Trump when the Electoral College cast its votes.
Romney had previously hoped President Trump losing the election would mean voters would exile President Trump’s “Make America Great Again” agenda to the ash heap of history so Republicans could go back to the days when Romney and McCain led the Republican Party and supported amnesty, open borders, endless wars and globalist trade deals.
But after President Trump won 74,000,000 votes—a record for a sitting President—Romney was forced to admit on fake news CNN that President Trump would lead the Republican Party for years and most of the top 2024 GOP presidential contenders are adapting their brand of politics to President Trump’s “America First” brand of conservatism.
“I think President Trump will continue to have substantial influence on the party, and I think if you look at the people who are rumored to be thinking of running in 2024, besides the president, those are people who are trying to appeal to kind of a populist approach,” Romney stated. “So, I don’t think Trumpism is going away.”
However, Romney took a cheap shot at President Trump by falsely claiming the President was misleading the public about the level of voter fraud in the 2020 election.
“But I hope that we can have disagreements over policy, and a vision of our respective parties without continuing to promote a narrative which puts democracy itself in jeopardy,” Romney added. “And when you tell people that voting doesn’t work and that democracy can’t work because we don’t have legitimate elections, that’s a very dangerous thing to be saying.”
The President’s lawyers have presented thousands of pages of evidence in the form of sworn affidavits where citizens testified to the fraud they witnessed under penalty of perjury.
And just recently a judge ordered the release of an audit of Dominion voting machines in Antrim County, Michigan which found the machines were designed to create systemic fraud and had a 68 percent error rate.
Over 70 percent of Republican voters believe the 2020 election was rigged and establishment RINOs like Mitt Romney are depressing the conservative vote in the January 5 Senate runoffs in Georgia in order to suck up to the fake news media.
Romney’s refusal to fight is why Republican voters looked to Donald Trump in 2016 and why President Trump’s influence in the GOP will long outlive Mitt Romney’s.
