Nancy Pelosi wants to make sure her version of events that led to Joe Biden quitting his re-election campaign is what goes down as official cannon.
Pelosi sought to achieve that goal through a series of interviews with her fanclub in the press.
One of these interviews was with CBS’ Lesley Stahl who infamously told Donald Trump during an interview in the middle of the 2020 election that the emails on Hunter Biden’s laptop weren’t real.
At one point, Pelosi tried to say that Biden was more ‘with it’ mentally when he made the decision to exit the race.
“He was in a good place to make whatever decision – the top of his game,” Pelosi stated.
Pelosi then attempted to lavish praise on Biden to try and make it seem like she wasn’t the one who stabbed him in the back and exclaimed that Biden deserved recognition as one of America’s greatest Presidents by having his face carved into Mount Rushmore.
“Such a consequential president of the United States, a Mount Rushmore kind of president of the United States,” Pelosi stated.
Pelosi’s level of shamelessness astounded even Stahl.
“Are you really saying that he belongs up there on Mount Rushmore? Lincoln and Joe Biden?” asked an astonished Stahl.
Pelosi then strangely claimed that since Teddy Roosevelt earned a place on Mount Rushmore, it was okay to etch Biden’s face next to George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Abraham Lincoln as well.
“Well, you got Teddy Roosevelt up there, and he’s wonderful,” Pelosi replied.
“I don’t say take him down. But you can add Biden,” Pelosi added.
