This was supposed to be Joe Biden’s big moment.
But not everything worked out according to plan.
And no one could believe why Joe Biden canceled the inauguration.
As Great American Daily reports:
Joe Biden’s handlers kept Biden hidden away in his basement during the campaign citing the coronavirus pandemic.
Biden would rarely appear in public and when he did, Biden would wear cartoonishly big masks and sometimes even wear two masks.
Former Vice President Biden’s fear of the coronavirus extends to the inauguration.
Normally Inauguration Day is one of America’s great spectacles as hundreds of thousands, sometimes millions, of Americans line the street to watch the President make the customary walk to the steps of the Capitol for the swearing-in ceremony.
Inauguration Day 2021 will be different.
There will be no parade with cheering spectators and should Biden be sworn in that day, it will be done as part of a virtual ceremony.
VOA News reports:
President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration will include a “virtual parade across America” consistent with crowd limits during the coronavirus era, organizers announced Sunday.
Following the swearing-in ceremony on Inauguration Day, January 20, on the west front of the U.S. Capitol, Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, will join Vice President-elect Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, in participating in a socially distanced Pass in Review on the Capitol’s opposite front side. Those are military traditions where Biden will review the readiness of military troops.
Biden will also receive a traditional presidential escort with representatives from every branch of the military from 15th Street in Washington to the White House. That, the Presidential Inaugural Committee says, will be socially distanced too, while “providing the American people and world with historic images of the president-elect proceeding to the White House without attracting large crowds.”
If Biden is President, the lack of an inaugural parade will set the tone for his COVID paranoia-obsessed Presidency.
Biden’s promised that if he is President his first order will be mandating masks for 100 days.
But many Americans worry that a potential President Biden would impose a national lockdown claiming new strains of the coronavirus spreads too easily.
The lack of an inaugural parade could be a giant clue that a potential President Biden intends to keep extreme social distancing and lockdown measures in place for an indefinite period of time despite the fact that a vaccine developed by the Trump administration’s Operation Warp Speed will soon be widely available.
This should not be a surprise.
Over the summer Biden told ABC that he would impose a nationwide lockdown if the so-called “scientists” recommended it.
And that’s why many Americans take a potential President Biden canceling the inaugural parade as a worrying sign of things to come.
