A gaffe is when a politician tells the truth when they aren’t supposed to.
In that case, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez committed the mother of all gaffes.
And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made one key mistake that will haunt Alvin Bragg.

One of the key reasons why Democrats have brought criminal charges against Donald Trump is to keep him in the courtroom and away from the campaign trail.
Of course, their goal is ultimately to put him in jail. But their thought process is that even if they fail to do that, at least they’ll prevent him from holding rallies and campaign events since he’ll be hemmed up with court instead.
This strategy was supposed to be kept under wraps.
But Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez apparently never got the memo.
While getting chatty with reporters, she ended up admitting the whole point of the trial is to keep Trump from campaigning.
According to Breitbart, “Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) — also known as AOC — said the ‘quiet part out loud,’ in the eyes of former President Donald Trump and his supporters: that the business records trial sparked by Democrat Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against him is keeping him off the campaign trail.”
“After the Trump campaign announced this week that Trump was doing an event in the South Bronx on Thursday evening, Ocasio-Cortez told reporters he was doing so because the trial was keeping him tied up in New York.”
Here is what she said to reporters: “By the way, he’s doing it in the South Bronx, not to make a point, but because he’s got court, and the man practically has the legal version of an ankle bracelet around him, and he can’t leave the five boroughs because you always have to be in court. And so it is truly an embarrassment to him.”
It’s actually more of an embarrassment to Bragg than to Trump now that Ocasio-Cortez blew his cover.
“Her remarks validated Trump’s repeated assertions that the charges brought against him by Bragg were an attempt to keep him tied up in court and off the campaign trial and interfere with the 2024 presidential election,” the article continued.
Now that Ocasio-Cortez made these comments, everybody knows Trump was right all along.
Alvin Bragg cannot be happy with his fellow New York Democrat for opening her mouth about something that was meant to be top secret.
