The left acts like they are the heroic fighters against racism, but the truth is they have a massive racism problem themselves.
This became clear during the anti-Israel protests which have, at times, devolved into riots and even harassment of Jewish students and teachers on campuses.
There was a distinct anti-Semitic sentiment among some of the people involved in these protests, but it never got the attention it deserved from the federal government.
But that’s all changing now that Pam Bondi is the head of the Department of Justice.
She’s launching an investigation into the anti-Semitism occurring on college campuses and it will surely reveal some ugly truths.
According to NBC Los Angeles, “The Department of Justice on Wednesday launched an investigation into the University of California under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.”
“Title VII gives the U.S. Attorney General authority to initiate investigations against state and local government employers if they find reasonable cause that they’re engaged in a “pattern or practice” of employment discrimination.”
There appear to be a number of people on college campuses both students and faculty, who hold unsavory opinions about Jewish people, and sometimes act on those opinions.
The article continues, “In January, President Trump signed an executive order outlining ‘additional measures to combat antisemitism.’ On Feb. 28, the Federal Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism said investigators would be visiting 10 schools, including USC and UCLA, to determine ‘whether remedial action is warranted.’”
“More than 250,000 people work for the UC system, representing California’s third-largest employer, according to a 2023 accountability report. The ten campuses stretch across Los Angeles, Riverside, Irvine, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, Berkeley, San Francisco, Davis and Merced.”
Trump and Bondi are responding after many conservatives complained the Biden administration did not do enough to stop what was happening.
Academia is an increasingly powerful part of the Democrat base and most Democrat politicians are hesitant to get on their bad side.
But the ideas and ideologies emerging from these campuses are getting darker and more disturbing by the year.
Trump and Bondi are hoping to reverse that trend.
