A big-name Democrat’s fall from grace is now complete.

Liberals once hyped up this rising star as a potential presidential candidate.

And police brought sex crime charges against one Democrat Party leader.

As Black Eye Politics reports:

Police in Albany filed misdemeanor criminal charges for forcible touching against former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

“A Misdemeanor Complaint against former Governor Andrew Cuomo has been filed in Albany City Court,” a spokesman for the Albany City Court stated. “As this is a sex crime, a redacted complaint will be available shortly.”

Forcible touching is defined as when a “person intentionally, and for no legitimate purpose forcibly touches the sexual or other intimate parts of another person for the purpose of degrading or abusing such person, or for the purpose of gratifying the actor’s sexual desire.”

Mariann Wang – the attorney for Cuomo accusers Alyssa McGrath and Virginia Limmiatis – praised the district attorney for charging Cuomo.

“My clients are enormously grateful for the courage of the women who have come forward to speak the truth about Cuomo’s misconduct,” Wang exclaimed. “Cuomo is being held to account as he should be, including by being forced to answer a criminal charge. We hope that all men who abuse their power by abusing women will see this and understand that there will be real consequences to their profoundly damaging behavior.”

Cuomo’s downfall began when New York State Attorney General Letitia James’ office published a devastating report detailing the credible allegations of sexual assault and sexual harassment against Governor Cuomo by multiple women.

Last spring, Governor Cuomo was a national star as the corporate media built up Cuomo as a straight-talking truth-teller to use as a foil to attack Donald Trump.

But once the 2020 election was over the corporate media and New York Democrat Party had no more use for Cuomo.

State Attorney General James kneecapping Cuomo with her report smelled like a political hit on a rival whose job she sought.

That suspicion seemed like a reality when the criminal charges against Cuomo dropped just after James announced her campaign for New York governor in 2022.

James celebrated the charges against former Governor Cuomo.

“From the moment my office received the referral to investigate allegations that former Governor Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women, we proceeded without fear or favor,” Attorney General James’ statement read. “The criminal charges brought today against Mr. Cuomo for forcible touching further validate the findings in our report.”

From the moment James held a press conference pundits speculated it was the unofficial launch of her gubernatorial campaign.

When Cuomo resigned his office, the defiant Cuomo did not admit any wrongdoing and dangled the possibility of a comeback.

But if convicted, Andrew Cuomo will have to register as a sex offender which would take him off the board as a critic or challenger to James’ ambitions for higher office.
