Joe Biden wanted this fight with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis

It ended up Biden bit off way more than he could chew.

And Ron DeSantis taught Joe Biden a lesson that left Democrats worried.

As Conservative Revival reports:

Governor DeSantis continues to take major steps towards running for president in 2024.

While DeSantis has not made any public pronouncements of his desire to run for president due to the fact that DeSantis is running for re-election in Florida in 2022 DeSantis is taking all the quiet steps that White House aspirants make.

But given the fact that the polls show DeSantis holding comfortable leads over his Democrat rivals and that Florida grows redder by the day as Republicans expand their voter registration lead over Democrats, DeSantis can turn some attention to 2024.

Both involve DeSantis’ mammoth 100 million dollar plus war chest.

The first move DeSantis made that raised eyebrows is the fact that DeSantis’ online ads are now targeting voters that do not live in the state of Florida.

Reuters exclusively reports:

A Reuters analysis of DeSantis’ social media ads shows he has dramatically expanded his out-of-state ads in recent months, an indicator, say some political analysts, that he may be laying the groundwork for a national campaign.

In the first three months of this year, political ads sent through DeSantis’ Facebook and Instagram pages were overwhelmingly concentrated in Florida, as one would expect from a man running for office in the state.

But by the April-June period, they were spread roughly evenly between Florida and the rest of the country, according to a Reuters analysis of regional spending data for social media ads compiled by New York University’s Cybersecurity for Democracy project.

A politician with national ambitions would want to build an email list of supporters and donors from beyond their home state.

In addition, DeSantis is looking to grow his campaign account by hosting a fundraiser in Utah with GOP donors.

CNBC reports:

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is planning a private fundraiser in Utah later this month that is expected to draw some of the country’s wealthiest Republican donors as he signals a possible run for president in 2024.

DeSantis is set to head to Utah the week of July 18 for the private gathering, according to people familiar with the matter. Many asked not to be identified because the campaign is trying to keep the private event from getting too much public attention.

Polls show that Governor DeSantis runs second to Donald Trump in 2024 GOP primary polls.

One survey out of the key primary state of New Hampshire showed DeSantis leading Donald Trump.

Governor DeSantis turned into a GOP megastar by leading the fight against Dr. Fauci and Joe Biden’s school mask mandates, lockdowns, and vaccine passports.

DeSantis also drew up the GOP playbook to fight back against woke corporations after DeSantis stripped Disney of its special privileges after Disney tried to kill a bill that blocked teachers from grooming students in grades K-12 into transgenderism with sexualized lesson plans.

The impressive string of victories DeSantis racked up led to a groundswell of support for DeSantis to run for president in 2024.

National moods can change greatly from election cycle to election cycle.

The issues that propelled DeSantis to prominence in the GOP will fade by 2028.

And that led DeSantis to likely seeing 2024 as his best shot at the presidency.
