In a video posted to TikTok, O’Donnell revealed she took her 12-year-old child and fled to Ireland because Donald Trump won the presidential election.
“You know, I’m happy. Clay is happy. I miss my other kids. I miss my friends. I miss many things about life there at home and I’m trying to find a home here in this beautiful country and when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back,” O’Donnell stated.
O’Donnell explained she left America because she was losing her mind over Trump’s victory.
“Protect your sanity is all I can say. Protect your sanity as much as you can, and try not to swim in the chaos if possible, but I know it’s nearly impossible when you’re there in the middle of it,” O’Donnell added.
In an appearance on Irish TV with host Patrick Kielty of “The Late Late Show,”O’Donnell demonstrated that her mental state deteriorated even further.
Kielty asked O’Donnell if she accepted the fact that 77 million of her former countrymen voted to re-elect President Trump in landslide fashion.
O’Donnell claimed she did but then began spinning an inane conspiracy theory about how Elon Musk stole the election for Donald Trump by virtue of purchasing Twitter.
“Well, I respect their right to do that. I question why for the first time in American history a president has won every swing state and is also best friends and his largest donor was a man who owns and runs the internet,” O’Donnell began.
O’Donnell thought that, despite the fact that 70 percent of Americans thought the country was on the wrong track because of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ border and inflation crises, Trump only could have won all seven swing states and the popular vote through skullduggery.
To show just how far off the deep end she dove, O’Donnell actually claimed the election was stolen because Kamala Harris drew bigger crowd sizes than Donald Trump.
“So, I hope that would be investigated. And that we would see whether it was an anomaly or it was something else that happened on election night in America when Kamala Harris was filling up stadiums with people who supported her and Donald Trump was not able to do that,” O’Donnell added.
Even though O’Donnell was attempting to destroy faith in democracy with her false claims about the 2024 election, she claimed she was trying to protect democracy by calling for an investigation.
“So, it’s curious to me and as an American and a believer in democracy, I would hope that we would be able to look at all of the reasons why this happened in our country,” O’Donnell concluded.
