Sean Hannity is one of Donald Trump’s strongest defenders in the media.
The top rated Fox News host is confronting the reality of how impeachment will affect the 2020 election.
And Sean Hannity went on TV and made one 2020 prediction that no one saw coming.
As Great American Daily reports:
As the witch hunt rolls on toward the apparent inevitability of the Democrats impeaching President Trump, conservatives are boiling over with rage over the un-American attempts to undo the next election.
And there are strong indications the Democrats’ push may backfire.
In a fiery monologue during his Fox News program, Hannity said:
“I have never in my life witnessed such resolution and anger,” Hannity told his audience. “I believe that if the Democrats do this and impeach him, and they can, and he’s not going to get convicted in the Senate — I believe that the people that voted for Trump in 2016 and probably many others are going to be willing to wait in line for a month to vote for him in 2020.”
Hannity’s prediction echoed the analysis offered by left-wing journalist Mark Halperin.
Halperin cautioned that deep down Nancy Pelosi knows that impeachment will only strengthen Donald Trump’s political position heading into the 2020 campaign.
“Another momentous day Tuesday, more status quo: the House impeaches; the Senate does not convict; Trump potentially grows stronger for reelection, as Nancy Pelosi long feared,” Halperin wrote in his daily “Wide World of News” email newsletter.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s actions prove Hannity and Halperin’s analysis is not uninformed media speculation.
When Pelosi announced the House would vote on a resolution outlining the Democrats’ next steps in their investigations into President Trump, Speaker Pelosi told a reporter it was not an “impeachment resolution.”
The fake and corrupt news media will hype up any slight crack of daylight between President Trump and Senate Republicans to publish stories about how any day now the dam will crack and GOP Senators will join with Democrats to remove the President from office.
Fake news CNN’s chief Democrat Party propagandist Brian Stelter pushed this fantasy in his daily media newsletter.
Stelter cited a CNN article headlined “Mitch McConnell’s extraordinary efforts to say nothing at all” somehow proving McConnell gave up defending the President.
But this was just fairy tales from a Democrat Party hack fiction writer at fake news CNN.
The very next day McConnell slammed Democrats as wanting to impeach President Trump from day one.
McConnell referenced a Washington Post article from Trump’s inauguration day claiming the impeachment process started.
Georgia Republican Senator David Perdue told Politico impeachment was “dead on arrival” in the Senate.
Democrat Party asset Mitt Romney is the only Senator in the GOP caucus to even hint that he would consider voting to remove the President from office.
And it is widely accepted on Capitol Hill that Romney is merely speaking for himself.
There is not some secret cabal of Republican Senators waiting for the signal to join the Democrats and remove the President from office.
Hannity predicting the Senate will exonerate the President on this phony Ukraine scandal is not a cable news bluster.
It’s backed up by polling – which shows no cracks in the GOP base’s support for the President – the political reality in the Senate and the facts of the case.
Great American Daily will keep you up to date on any new developments in the Democrats’ attempts to stage a coup against President Trump.
