Democrats don’t expect to get advice from Trey Gowdy.

But that is exactly what just happened.

Trey Gowdy said Democrats need to take this unusual step with one Supreme Court Justice.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

When Donald Trump nominated Amy Coney Barrett to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Democrats lost their minds.

Democrats promoted baseless conspiracy theories and wild allegations about Barrett taking away Americans’ rights.

Some on the left even claimed Democrats needed to pack the Supreme Court to create a permanent liberal majority as an act of revenge.

Gowdy brought up that Democrat hate – much of it was based on Barrett’s Catholicism – to highlight bigotry and insanity of the Democrats’ opposition to Barrett’s nomination.

“Ten months ago, Democrats and the media, assuming those are different things, told you Amy Coney Barrett was coming after all your rights,” Gowdy stated. “You remember those Senate Judiciary Committee hearings…Democrat senators told you this devoutly Catholic mother of seven was coming after your right to healthcare and your right to vote and after your vote to contraception.”

But as it turned out, Barrett disappointed conservatives on a number of cases and left Democrats smiling in many of the big issues before the Court.

Gowdy noted that Democrats did not suffer any major defeats, and no one’s rights were taken away.

“You were told Judge Coney Barrett was gonna send you back to the ‘Handmaid’s Tale,'” Gowdy continued. “Well, the Supreme Court just finished its first term with her on the bench. Opinions have been issued, and published. Which of your rights are you without tonight, which of your rights did Justice Amy Coney Barrett strip away from you? I can’t think of anything either, I did not hear a single apology for their dishonest efforts to denigrate.”

Democrats specifically warned if the Senate confirmed Barrett that Obamacare was toast.

The state of Texas sued claiming that after Congress zeroed out the penalty for the individual mandate as part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, it meant the rest of the law collapsed since the mandate was what forced Americans to purchase health insurance.

But Barrett chickened out and went along with Chief Justice John Roberts and the rest of the Court’s liberals in inventing the third technicality in three different cases to uphold Obamacare.

Amy Coney Barrett also went along with a narrow ruling in the case of the city of Philadelphia refusing to contract with Catholic Social Services to leave in place a 1990 precedent that allowed government to discriminate against the free exercise of religion.

Barrett’s worst betrayal was refusing to hear the case of a Christian florist in Washington state persecuted for her religious beliefs because the florist refused to prepare floral arrangements for a homosexual wedding.

If anything, Democrats owe Amy Coney Barrett a ‘thank you’ for leaving in place Obamacare and allowing government to persecute Christians and restrict religious liberty.

Barrett did turn in some conservative rulings.

But Trump and his supporters expected a six-justice conservative majority to flex its muscles.

Instead, Barrett seemed most concerned with keeping the left happy and making sure if conservatives won, the victory would not be of significant nature to upset liberals.
