Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wants to keep Donald Trump out of the White House.
Why that is the case may surprise Americans.
And Nancy Pelosi has one giant fear about Donald Trump winning in November.
As Swamp Digest reports:
Nancy Pelosi’s stock trading habits have been a major news story for a long time, at least among conservative news outlets.
She’s been wildly successful on the stock market, which she claims has nothing to do with the fact that she has inside knowledge about many things taking place in various economic sectors.
Donald Trump apparently does not believe her claims and says what she’s engaged in looks very suspicious.
Now that a new story has come out about the Pelosi family selling off Visa stock just before the Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against the company, Trump is furious.
He knows that if he ever did something like that, he would be in big trouble with the law, and he is wondering why there is a double standard.
And he is not going to let Pelosi off the hook for what her husband apparently did with their stock portfolio.
According to the New York Post, “Former President Donald Trump said Thursday he believes Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) ‘should be prosecuted’ over her husband’s Visa stock trades ahead of a Justice Department lawsuit against the credit card giant.”
“The former House speaker’s husband, Paul Pelosi, unloaded 2,000 shares of Visa stock worth between $500,000 and $1 million on July 1, financial disclosures show.”
Here is part of what Trump said: “Nancy Pelosi has a little problem because her husband sold their Visa stock – they had a lot of Visa stock – one day before it was announced that Visa is being sued by the Department of Justice.”
It is strange that the Pelosi family managed to offload this stock at such a convenient time, and many people believe it should be looked into.
Trump knows that if a Republican, especially him, did this it would cause national outrage, but with Pelosi there is barely a peep.
The article continues, “A spokesperson for the 84-year-old congresswoman did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.”
“At the time Paul sold the Visa stock, there was no public indication that the antitrust lawsuit against the company was imminent.”
“Shares of Visa closed down 5.5% the day the lawsuit was announced.”
No one knows the full truth. Maybe the Pelosis sold their Visa stock for other reasons and just happened to get lucky with the timing.
But the fact they’ve not offered to be transparent is very strange and Trump seems to think there is far more going on here.
Nancy Pelosi and her husband have gotten very wealthy off of stock trading, and Donald Trump is raising some very uncomfortable questions about it.
