There have been questions for a long time about how Nancy Pelosi acquired the sheer amount of wealth that she did, despite not making an astronomically large salary as a member of Congress.
Pelosi’s net worth is estimated to be between $100 million and $200 million, despite the fact that the speaker of the House, her former position, makes a salary of $223,000 a year.
$223,000 is a lot of money, to be sure, but it’s not enough to explain a net worth in the hundreds of millions.
Of course, this by itself does not necessarily mean she did anything wrong, but it raises eyebrows, and the Trump administration is going to find out.
Alina Habba went on the Jesse Watters show recently and said they’re going to find out how Pelosi got her money.
She didn’t specifically lay out how this will be accomplished, but her message to Pelosi was very clear.
Now Americans will be at the edge of their seats waiting to see what happens next.
Alina Habba Launches a Threat of Investigation at Pelosi
According to Real Clear Politics, “Alina Habba, White House Counselor to President Trump, told FOX News host Jesse Watters that Democrats ‘should be losing sleep right now’ because they are ‘looking at’ how people like Rep. Nancy Pelosi, former Rep. Liz Cheney, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren are wealthy from their government salary.”
Habba did not mince words in her threat about how scared these people should be of their investigation.
Investigations are not a pleasant thing to go through, regardless of what the outcome is, and this will not be exciting news for Pelosi or any of the other people listed.
Here’s what Habba said: “I mean, the only people that should be losing sleep right now are the Democrat Party. It’s the Nancy Pelosi’s who we’re looking at. It’s the Liz Cheney’s, you know, Pocahontas.
“We’re looking at all that stuff, and we’re gonna find out why you’re so rich on government money. There’s just so much to go into. I can’t even, I don’t even know where to start.”
“There is so much information that we are finding out and revealing that they’re all working around the clock just to make sure we bring justice to the people that appropriately need to be brought to justice.”
It’s clear that Habba believes something inappropriate has taken place, and if that’s the case there will be no hiding it in an investigation.
Americans deserve to know what their public officials are doing, and transparency is almost always a good thing.
Finding out truth is always better than lobbing around accusations, and if the people listed above did nothing wrong, they should welcome a chance to get the truth out to put accusations to rest.
Either way, it seems that the Trump administration is not messing around, and this new threat launched at Nancy Pelosi and some of her allies will rock D.C.
