The left is finding out Donald Trump meant business.
A promise made is a promise kept.
And Donald Trump gave the U.S. military one order the woke mob will hate.

One of the key complaints that conservatives have had over the past few years is that the military has grown increasingly focused on “woke” social issues instead of protecting the country.
They have been trying to push left-wing ideological views onto their troops and they have spent countless taxpayer dollars implementing new policies that reflect this political agenda.
For a while, it was happening quietly, but eventually the conservatives caught on to what was going on and raised a stink about it.
Now Donald Trump is in the White House, and he is not going to put up with any of this nonsense anymore.
He has handed down an order to end DEI programs in the military which were apparently hiring and promoting people based on immutable characteristics like race and sex.
Trump’s goal is to refocus the military on what it should be doing, which is figuring out how to defend the United States against foreign enemies.
According to the BBC, “US President Donald Trump has signed several executive orders focused on reshaping the US military.
“One order signed late on Monday bans diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in the military. It will remove the use of race- or sex-based preferences in the armed forces, the Defense Department and the Homeland Security Department.”
Hiring and promoting based on race and sex is a terrible idea for an institution that is charged with protecting the U.S. from catastrophic foreign attacks.
The military needs to be as well-run as possible, and if hiring and promotion is done based on anything other than who is most qualified for the job, then there is a real problem.
The article continues, “Removing DEI programmes from within the federal government was one of Trump’s central campaign promises – and one he has moved swiftly to implement upon taking office last week.”
“The Trump administration claims that removing these initiatives from the US military will help boost recruitment levels.
“Defence officials have previously said that the military services collectively missed recruitment goals by 41,000 personnel in the 2023 fiscal year.”
“Within 90 days of the executive order being signed, the President says the Secretary of Defense will carry out ‘an internal review that documents actions taken in pursuit of DEI initiatives, including all instances of race and sex discrimination and activities designed to promote a race- or sex-based preferences system.’”
This will be a collective sigh of relief for people who have grown increasingly worried that the military isn’t fully committed to doing its job.
Donald Trump is taking care of the problem and setting the U.S. military back on the right course with these executive orders that he has handed down.
Now it is the job of top military leaders to figure out a way to rebuild the military into the greatest fighting force in the entire world.
