What Ilhan Omar Admitted About This Ugly Sex Scandal Could End Her Time in Congress

Ilhan Omar may finally have wore out her welcome in Washington.

Her ability to generate bad headlines came at the worst time ever.

And what Ilhan Omar admitted about this ugly sex scandal could end her time in Congress.

A recent Morning Consult poll found that after watching Joe Biden deny Tara Reade’s credible allegations of sexual assault, 26 percent of Democrats wanted Biden replaced as the nominee.

Other polls showed a large number of Democrats believed Reade’s allegations were true.

Ilhan Omar counts herself among those Democrats.

In an interview with the British Sunday Times, Omar stated that she believed Reade’s allegations were true.

“I do believe Reade,” Omar told the Sunday Times. “Justice can be delayed, but should never be denied.”

Omar also told the Sunday Times that she believed Biden should be replaced as the candidate.

Omar is facing a well-funded primary challenge from Antone Melton-Meaux.

Melton-Meaux raised a credible $483,000 for his campaign and his message that Omar resides far outside the American mainstream is gaining traction in Minnesota’s Fifth Congressional District.

Fellow squad member Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tried to walk a tightrope expressing sympathy for Reade and not dismissing her allegations, but still endorsing Joe Biden for president.

“There have been investigative journalists that have corroborated certain aspects of her account — that is undeniable — [and] have raised questions about other aspects of her account,” Ocasio-Cortez said in an interview with National Public Radio. “I’m not sure. Frankly, this is a messy moment, and I think we need to acknowledge that — that it is not clear-cut.”

Ocasio-Cortez is also facing a well-funded primary challenger in former CNBC anchor Michelle Caruso-Cabrera.

But Ocasio-Cortez knows that to survive a primary challenge and remain viable in Democrat Party politics – many expect Ocasio-Cortez to run for president down the line – she must endorse Joe Biden and support his candidacy no matter what.

Ilhan Omar may learn this lesson the hard way.

Joe Biden may have brought this rebellion on himself.

In an interview with MSNBC, Biden admitted that anyone that believed Reade should not vote for him.

“I think they should vote their heart, and if they believe Tara Reade, they probably shouldn’t vote for me. I wouldn’t vote for me if I believed Tara Reade. The fact is that, look at Tara Reade’s story. It changes considerably,” Biden began.

One of the reasons so many Democrats want to replace Biden as the candidate is because he continues to struggle to explain why he said Americans should “believe all women” when Christine Blasey Ford made her false allegations against Brett Kavanaugh, but that Tara Reade should not enjoy that same support.

“And so — but, I don’t want to question her motive. I don’t want to question anything, other than to say, the truth matters. This is being vetted. It’s been vetted. They went, and people interviewed scores of my employees over my whole career. This is just totally, thoroughly, completely out of character, and the idea that in a public place, in a hallway, I would assault a woman,” Biden answered.

How many Democrats share Omar’s belief that Tara Reade is telling the truth and then decide not to vote for Joe Biden could decide the election.
