A major scandal is brewing in one of the Democrat Party’s biggest strongholds.
Criminal charges may be on the way.
And the FBI paid a top Democrat a visit for an unspeakable reason.

Federal agents raided the home Brianna Suggs, the chief campaign fundraiser of New York City Democrat Mayor Eric Adams, on Thursday.
Adams had been sitting on the tarmac on his way to meet with President Joe Biden to plead for more funding due to the flood of illegal immigrants pouring into New York City when he received news of the raid.
“The mayor heard of an issue related to the campaign and takes these issues seriously, so wanted to get back to New York as quickly as possible,” said Adams spokesman Fabien Levy. “He plans to return to D.C. and reschedule these meetings as soon as he can.”
The FBI raid on the home of Adams’ top campaign fundraiser, Brianna Suggs, is connected to the criminal investigation into whether Adams’ 2021 election campaign conspired with a foreign government to receive illegal campaign contributions.
According to the New York Times, investigators were searching to “learn more about the potential involvement of a Brooklyn construction company with ties to Turkey, as well as a small university in Washington, D.C., that also has ties to the country and to Mr. Adams.”
“According to the search warrant, investigators were also focused on whether the mayor’s campaign kicked back benefits to the construction company’s officials and employees, and to Turkish officials,” the New York Times reported.
Adams addressed the issue Thursday night and said his administration will fully cooperate with the probe.
“I hold my campaign to the highest ethical standards,” Adams said. “Any inquiry that is done we’re going to fully participate and make sure that it’s done correctly.”
“I have not been contacted by anyone from any law enforcement agency, and that’s why I came back from the D.C., to be here, to be on the ground and look at this inquiry as it was made.”
Oddly, Adams has repeatedly boasted about his ties to Turkey in the past.
“I’m probably the only mayor in the history of this city that has not only visited Turkey once, but I think I’m on my sixth or seventh visit to Turkey,” Adams said to the crowd during a flag-raising ceremony in Lower Manhattan last month just before Turkey’s 100-year anniversary as a republic.
