These are not the type of headlines Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez likes to generate.

But they are here nonetheless.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez faced one humiliating moment she will never live down.

As Black Eye Politics reports:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was blasted for prioritizing illegal immigrants over her own constituents during a town hall in Queens on Thursday.

The congresswoman was speaking on the Green New Deal and climate change legislation when two attendees, one of them being a Republican challenger for her seat in the U.S. House, interrupted her speech.

“My name is Jonathan David Rinaldi and I’m running for Congress against AOC. The Green New Deal is a scam.”

“They’re giving the NYCHA apartments away, they’re giving illegal aliens $10,000 a day… I want you to debate me AOC, debate me,” the challenger shouted.

NYCHA stands for the New York City Housing Authority, which allocates New York City’s public housing projects.

A second yelled out, “You haven’t said one word about violent Venezuelan migrants, illegals,” while supporters began chanting “AOC” to drown him out.

“You don’t care, all you care about is illegal aliens and their votes. You don’t care about your constituents,” the man continued. “That’s all you care about. You’re a disgrace!”

Ocasio-Cortez kept a smile plastered on her face as security approached Rinaldi to remove him from the town hall.

“Every single one of us is being sold out by people that have brought illegals here to vote,” the congressional challenger shouted as he was being escorted away. “You only represent the illegal aliens!”

“Well, clearly I don’t, because I’m an elected member of Congress, so keep it pushing, bro,” Ocasio-Cortez replied.

After both dissidents left the event, Ocasio-Cortez claimed her voters “clearly support[s] progressive immigration policies that welcomes all of our neighbors.”

Interestingly enough, Democrat New York City Mayor Eric Adams is not willing to welcome all illegal immigrants and is calling for the rollback of the city’s sanctuary policies.

“I don’t believe people who are violent in our city and commit repeated crimes should have the privilege of being in our city,” Adams told reporters during a press conference at City Hall earlier this week. “You don’t have the right to be in our city and tarnish the overwhelming number who are here following the rules.”

“I want to go back to the standards of the previous mayors who, I believe, subscribed to my belief that people who are suspected of committing serious crimes in this city should be held accountable,” Adams stated.
