Joe Biden’s already risking World War 3 with the disastrous war in Ukraine.
Now Biden is attempting to expand the conflict in the Middle East into another endless war.
Houthi militants in Yemen launched a massive attack of 21 missiles and drones at ships in the Rea Sea.
The Red Sea is a massive commercial shipping route and Biden sent U.S. naval assets to the region to deter Iranian-backed groups from metastasizing the war between Israel and Hamas into a regional conflict.
But foreign adversaries don’t respect Joe Biden after his doddering performance during the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.
And since November, Houthi forces routinely fired on U.S. naval vessels and other ships.
Biden ordered the U.S. military to launch strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen.
However, members of both parties spoke out against Biden’s rogue and unconstitutional order to open a new front in a global war without a declaration of war from Congress.
Democrats who enabled Biden’s war mongering in Iran refused to look the other way on the latest attempt by the D.C. swamp to embroil America in another decades-long slog in the Middle East.
California Democrat Ro Khanna was among the first to turn on Biden.
“The President needs to come to Congress before launching a strike against the Houthis in Yemen and involving us in another Middle East conflict,” Khanna stated. “That is Article I of the Constitution. I will stand up for that regardless of whether a Democrat or Republican is in the White House.”
Conservatives agreed, with Utah Senator Mike Lee and Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie publicly agreeing with Khanna.
“Only Congress has the power to declare war. I have to give credit to @RepRoKhanna here for sticking to his principles, as very few are willing to make this statement while their party is in the White House,” Massie posted on social media.
“I totally agree with @RoKhanna. The Constitution matters, regardless of party affiliation,” Lee declared.
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul also voiced opposition to Biden unlawfully usurping Congress’s power to declare war.
“On[c]e again, President Biden acting without constitutional authority. Only Congress can authorize military action like this,” Paul wrote on X.
Barack Obama set the standard for announcing his intention to assume the powers of a monarchy when he promised to govern by “pen and phone” following the Democrats’ 2014 midterm defeat.
But Joe Biden’s taken illegal executive decree to another level.
Already in Biden’s first three years in office the Supreme Court stepped in and halted Biden’s illegal eviction moratorium, COVID-19 vaccine mandate and student loan bailout theft scheme.
Critics contend it’s really Joe Biden who is governing like a dictator and seizing the decision to go to war on his own is another blow to the foundation of democratic accountability.
