Kamala Harris Got Ripped to Shreds by Greg Gutfeld Over One Startling Promise

2028 Presidential hopefuls are already trying to set the stage for the next election.

Kamala Harris rolled into Las Vegas with a microphone and a brand-new speaking voice.

And Greg Gutfeld caught one detail about her big promise that she’d love voters to forget.

Kamala Harris Debuted a Slow-Motion Voice for Nevada’s Union Workers

Harris has spent the midterm season hopscotching the country for Democrat candidates. Her Nevada swing landed her at Culinary Union headquarters in Las Vegas, home base for the casino cooks, housekeepers, and bartenders who keep the Strip running.

Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford, the Democrat nominee for governor, shared the stage. The crowd even sang Harris “happy birthday” before she took the microphone.

Then she started talking. Slowly. Very slowly.

Harris dropped into a low, drawn-out cadence that one conservative columnist compared to a teacher coaxing a room of sleepy kindergarteners through story time.

She told the union members that “that era of feeling powerless” had run its course. Then she delivered the line her handlers clearly wanted on the evening news: “that era is over because we are now 13 days away from doing something about it to stop the pain.”

She kept rolling. “So that’s where we are right now, and that’s kind of exciting,” Harris said. “Right? This is some good stuff.”

But the pep talk had a destination, and it was the ballot. “Like, we’re taking our power, we’re using it, to determine who will hold offices like being the governor of Nevada,” she said.

She also talked up Congresswoman Dina Titus (D-NV) as a fighter who would keep walking the halls of Congress.

The End Wokeness account posted the clip with a blunt warning: “It’s worse than you can imagine.” Millions of people clicked play anyway, which says something about the public appetite for a good train wreck.

Greg Gutfeld Spotted Who Struck the Match

The Five took up the speech, and Gutfeld boiled the whole performance down to one picture. Fox News slapped his verdict right on the segment: “Kamala Harris is a firefighter who shows up after the fire.”

It stings because the timeline holds up.

“Stop the pain” sounds lovely on a union hall stage. But somebody caused that pain, and Harris sat one heartbeat from the Oval Office the entire time it spread.

In February 2021, Harris broke 50-50 ties in the Senate to clear the runway for the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, a spending binge Democrats rammed through without a single Republican vote. In August 2022, she broke another tie to pass the so-called Inflation Reduction Act.

And the Bureau of Labor Statistics put inflation at 9.1 percent in June 2022, the hottest reading in roughly four decades.

Culinary members don’t need an economist to explain that number. They felt it every time they filled a grocery cart, paid rent on an apartment off Flamingo Road, or topped off the tank for the commute to work a double shift.

And the border told the same story. In March 2021, Joe Biden handed Harris the job of tackling the “root causes” of migration from Central America. US Customs and Border Protection then logged more than 2 million southwest border encounters in fiscal year 2022 and again in fiscal year 2023.

Hotel and restaurant workers sit right in the crosshairs of that flood. Every illegal alien willing to work off the books for less puts downward pressure on the wages of the very union members Harris was lecturing about their “power.” Democrats call that compassion. A housekeeper with a mortgage calls it competition.

Kamala Harris Keeps Showing Up in Nevada a Step Behind

This isn’t the first time Harris arrived in Las Vegas after somebody else did the hard work.

In June 2024, President Trump stood in Las Vegas and pitched ending federal taxes on tips. Harris showed up at a rally at UNLV that August and suddenly embraced the same idea, as if she’d dreamed it up over breakfast.

But Trump actually signed no tax on tips into law in July 2025 as part of the One Big Beautiful Bill. Nevada voters seemed to notice who delivered first. Trump carried the state in 2024, the first Republican presidential nominee to win Nevada in two decades.

There’s an older scar here too. In March 2020, Democrat Governor Steve Sisolak ordered the casinos dark, and Nevada’s jobless rate rocketed to roughly 30 percent that spring, according to federal labor data. The Culinary rank and file lived through that shutdown firsthand while Democrat officials lectured them about following the science.

So who exactly is the fire department in this story?

Ford’s campaign has its own version of the routine. His spokesman has blamed Republican Governor Joe Lombardo for “record high costs” and “sky-high unemployment,” as if the price spike that swept the entire country under Biden and Harris began at the Nevada state line. The firefighter act runs in the family, apparently.

And the voice itself raises a separate question. Harris has a long habit of adjusting her accent and cadence to whatever audience sits in front of her. One PJ Media writer put it plainly: “Nobody road-tests a new voice for a midterm rally out of civic duty.”

That points straight at 2028. Harris insists she hasn’t decided anything, and reports suggest even her husband, Doug Emhoff, isn’t eager for a third run. But a politician who keeps rehearsing new material on the road usually has a bigger stage in mind.

Maybe the slow, soothing tone is supposed to calm people down. Maybe it’s supposed to sound wise. Either way, a gentle voice doesn’t change the receipts.

Las Vegas has seen plenty of acts over the years, from Elvis at the International to Wayne Newton working the room into his eighties. Most of them understood one rule of the Strip. The audience remembers the last show you put on.

In February 2021, Kamala Harris broke a tie in the Senate to clear the way for $1.9 trillion in new spending. By June 2022, inflation had climbed to 9.1 percent.
