Megyn Kelly Praises Trump Town Hall Performance

Megyn Kelly was never known as the president of Donald Trump’s fan club.

But that doesn’t mean Kelly and Trump are always at each other’s throats.

And Megyn Kelly admitted one thing about Donald Trump that blindsided everyone.

As Great American Daily reports:

During the 2016 GOP primary Donald Trump boycotted Fox News for a brief period of time after Megyn Kelly tried to take him down with a “gotcha” question at the start of the first primary debate.

This cycle, Kelly attacked Trump for being too old to be president.

But now Kelly is singing Trump’s praises after a Fox News town hall event to contrast his political skills and charisma to those of low-polling challengers Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and RINO former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley who participated in a CNN debate that aired at the same time as Trump’s town hall.

Kelly gushed over Trump’s playful demeanor and how he hammered home his message that it’s Joe Biden’s who’s the real threat to the country by opening the borders, causing inflation and pushing the planet towards World War 3.

Trump deftly handled the questions, impishly interacted with the crowd and seemed completely at ease in a presentation that dispelled the media’s lies about Trump carrying on like a dictator consumed with revenge.

Viewers could see why Trump led the cognitively and physically declining Biden in the polls.

In contrast, Kelly lamented that a lackluster debate between DeSantis and Haley sucked all the air out of the room as the two snarled insults and frantically attacked one another.

It wasn’t just Kelly who held that glum assessment of Haley and DeSantis.

Even their supporters had to admit they didn’t come across well on television.

Establishment Never Trumper and pundit Erick Erickson started the Never Trump movement in 2016.

Erickson still carries that banner to this day.

And on his radio show Erickson was furious over what he saw on CNN as DeSantis and Haley failed to demonstrate they were Oval Office material.
