Pete Buttigieg Erupts Over What Tucker Carlson Said About Him

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is in the hot seat.

Buttigieg’s incompetence finally caught up with him.

Tucker Carlson said three words that made Pete Buttigieg’s brain melt.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson blasted Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg for the way that he handled the toxic train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.

This clearly upset Buttigieg, who lashed out on Sunday and claimed that Carlson is a member of the “East Coast elite” who doesn’t understand the working class.

“It’s really rich to see some of these folks – the former president, these Fox hosts – who are literally lifelong card-carrying members of the East Coast elite, whose top economic policy priority has always been tax cuts for the wealthy, and who wouldn’t know their way around a T.J. Maxx if their life depended on it, to be presenting themselves as if they genuinely care about the forgotten middle of the country,” Buttigieg said in an interview with CNN. “You think Tucker Carlson knows the difference between a T.J. Maxx and a Kohl’s?”

Buttigieg is the only son of two college professors at Notre Dame, who attended Harvard and Oxford, was elected twice to be the mayor of South Bend, and after an unsuccessful presidential bid was given the position of secretary of Transportation despite his lack of relevant experience.

His life has been so extremely privileged that all he can think of in terms of being middle class is knowing the difference between a “T.J. Maxx and a Kohl’s.”

Buttigieg doesn’t seem to realize that most Americans don’t care about where the secretary of Transportation or Tucker Carlson decide to shop for their clothes, they care about the fact that Buttigieg waited weeks to respond to a toxic train derailment that hurt thousands surrounding East Palestine.

Carlson slammed Buttigieg for his failure at his job performance, which is far more important than being knowledgeable in outlet shopping.

“If anything is grounds for firing somebody, it’s that, but the Biden administration did not fire Pete Buttigieg. They did the opposite. They praised him for breaking some important, but not very well-defined glass ceiling of some sort that you’re supposed to be excited about. They rewarded his dereliction of duty.” Carlson said on his show February 22nd.

“So, because people do respond to incentives, Pete Buttigieg kept doing it,” Carlson added. “He kept proudly ignoring his job. Weeks after a train derailed in East Palestine, Ohio, causing an actual environmental disaster throughout the whole region, Pete Buttigieg as of tonight has still not visited East Palestine. Why? What has he been doing? Well, as he explained to the Daily Caller reporter last night. He’s taking more personal time.”
