Americans could see with their own two eyes just how mentally enfeebled Biden actually was.
Biden withdrew from the race, kicking and screaming under pressure from Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama.
Jill Biden added a new layer to this debacle when she claimed in an interview with CBS that when she watched the debate, she thought Joe Biden had a stroke on live TV because she said she had never seen him act like this before.
“I was frightened, because I had never seen Joe like that before or since. Never,” Biden stated.
“I don’t know what happened,” Biden added. “As I watched it, I thought, ‘Oh, my God, he’s having a stroke.’ And it scared me to death.”
If Jill Biden thought Joe Biden suffered a stroke live on the debate stage, she certainly didn’t act that way in the immediate aftermath.
At a post-debate event, Jill Biden patronized her husband as if he were a child who struck out four times in a Little League game, but whose mom wanted to offer encouragement.
“Joe, you did such a great job. You answered every question. You knew all the facts,” Jill Biden gushed.
Even members of the liberal media sounded their BS detectors about Jill Biden claiming she never saw her husband act senile before.
“Biden aides told @jaketapper and me that they had seen him act that way before and after. Those moments became more difficult to predict and conceal. And Jill joined Biden for several campaign events after the debate, including a rally the next day,” Axios’s Alex Thompson said on CNN.
New York Post columnist Miranda Devine posted on X, “Sorry, but this is such BS. If she genuinely was “frightened” that he was having a stroke, then any rational wife would have insisted he go straight to the hospital. Instead, she dragged him off to a Waffle House and patronized him on stage like a baby: “Joe – you did such a great job.” We saw his incapacity for years. Don’t try to rewrite history. “
The concealment of Joe Biden’s cognitive decline is as much a media scandal as it is a political scandal.
